  1. Lesson Plan (grade 11 – advanced) Period 123: Preparation date :16 /04/2008 Unit 15 : Lesson : listening I. Aims : - By the end of the lesson, the students are able to listen for specific information - By the end of the lesson, the students will know more about the Taj Mahal. II. Lexical items : - love at the first sight - battle - emperor - mourn - beyond description - palace III.   2. 1. warm- Games: question chain up - Put SS into groups, Red and White -Posters (7’) - each member of the groups has to . cards. come to the teacher and answer a question. If the correct answer is given, the student receives a phrase or a word (card) from the teacher. In case of failure, another member from the same group has to come to the teacher and answer that question again. - play continues until al the question Chalk & are answered. board - when all the members have got their cards they have to unscramble these cards to make a meaningful sentences - ask the groups to sick their sentences up on the board - go over the answers with the whole class - the first group to work out the correct sentence is the winner - Transition: In today’s listening section, we‘ll p 123 Unit 15 Listening
