The money market is traditionally defined as the market for financial
assets that have original maturities of one year or less. In essence, it is
the market for short-term debt instruments. Financial assets traded in
this market include such instruments as U.S. Treasury bills, commercial
paper, some medium-term notes, bankers acceptances, federal agency
discount paper, most certificates of deposit, repurchase agreements,
floating-rate agreements, and federal funds.

venture to call this Essay 'Lombard Street,' and not the 'Money Market,' or any such phrase, because I wish
to deal, and to show that I mean to deal, with concrete realities. A notion prevails that the Money Market is
something so impalpable that it can only be spoken of in very abstract words, and that therefore books on it
must always be exceedingly difficult. But I maintain that the Money Market is as concrete and real as
anything else; that it can be described in as plain words; that it is the writer's fault if what he says is not clear.

The steps needed to define a successful space science mission are numerous. The science
drivers, the unique advantages this mission provides over past missions or earth-based
experiments, and the payload that it includes are the key factors to guarantee its success.
Finding the required information on such topics is not so straightforward, especially as
they are usually outside the scope of undergraduate courses. The 2003 Canary Islands
Winter School of Astrophysics aimed at providing a focused framework that helps fill this
We produce about two million dollars for each hour we work. The time it takes us, a rather conservative
estimate, is fifty hours to get any etext selected, entered, proofread, edited, copyright searched and analyzed,
the copyright letters written, etc. Our projected audience is one hundred million readers.
The Superfund program protects the American public and its resources by cleaning up sites
which pose an imminent or long term risk of exposure and harm to human health and the
environment. In FY 2013, the Agency will maintain the funding level necessary to respond to
emergency releases of hazardous substances as well as maintain the goal of sites achieving
human exposure and groundwater migration under control.
This will include negotiating and settling with PRPs and utilizing the special account funds
which the Agency obtains from PRPs to finance site-specific CERCLA response actions in
accordance with the settlement agreement. PRP resources, state resources, and appropriated
resources are critical to the Superfund program. As of the end of FY 2011, the EPA is carefully
managing more than $1.8 billion in special account resources and has developed multi-year plans
to use these funds as expeditiously as possible consistent with applicable requirements.
In Canada, a significant portion of an insurer’s capital requirement (especially for a life
insurer) arises from its exposure to credit risk. This component of the overall insurer capital
requirement is determined using asset default factors. For rated short term securities, bonds,
loans and private placements, these factors are based on the rating agency grade.

The party system is an essential instrument of Democracy. Wherever government rests upon the popular will,
there the party is the organ of expression and the agency of the ultimate power. The party is, moreover, a
forerunner of Democracy, for parties have everywhere preceded free government. Long before Democracy as
now understood was anywhere established, long before the American colonies became the United States,
England was divided between Tory and Whig.
This paper presents an approach to detection of the semantic types of relation arguments employing the WordNet hierarchy. Using the SemEval-2007 data, we show that the method allows to generalize relation arguments with high precision for such generic relations as Origin-Entity, Content-Container, Instrument-Agency and some other.
Other participants from key agencies were instrumental in setting up some of the practical aspects
of the workshop. This included the strategic placement of posters, display of juvenile fish in
aquaria, organisation of vehicles and accommodation and the preparation of ingredients and feed
making facilities at HAQDEC.
As far as possible, hand-outs and other workshop materials were prepared and shipped in advance
from NSW DPI Port Fisheries Centre (PSFC). NSW DPI also provided two computers and an
electronic projector for use at the workshop.
