Bones of the limbs and their girdles are collectively called the appendicular skeleton because they are appended to the axial skeleton that forms the longitudinal axis of the body. Chapter 7 - The skeleton (part c) provides knowledge of appendicular skeleton.
(BQ) Part 2 book "Surface and living anatomy" presents the following contents: Superficial veins of the lower limb, bony features of the axial skeleton, bony features of the axial skeleton, anatomical spaces, deep tendon reflexes, bony features of the axial skeleton, arteries of the head and neck,...
(BQ) Part 1 book "Skeletal radiology the bare bones" presents the following contents: Approach to trauma, trauma in adults - Upper extremity, axial skeleton, lower extremity, trauma in children, imaging of fracture treatment and healing, approach to bone lesions, malignant and aggressive tumors, benign lesions, metastatic tumors.
(BQ) Part 2 book "Langman’s medical embryology" presents the following contents: The axial skeleton, muscular system, limbs, cardiovascular system, cardiovascular system, digestive system, central nervous system, ear, eye, integumentary system.
(BQ) Part 1 book "Human anatomy & physiology" presentation of content: Introduction to anatomy and physiology, introduction to the organ systems, the microscope, the integumentary system, introduction to the skeletal system, the axial skeleton, the appendicular skeleton, gross anatomy of the muscular system,...and other contents.
The clinical manifestations of DGI have sometimes been classified into two stages: a bacteremic stage, which is less common today, and a joint-localized stage with suppurative arthritis. A clear-cut progression usually is not evident. Patients in the bacteremic stage have higher temperatures, and their fever is more frequently accompanied by chills. Painful joints are common and often occur in conjunction with tenosynovitis and skin lesions. Polyarthralgias usually include the knees, elbows, and more distal joints; the axial skeleton is generally spared.
E2F transcription factors play an important role in the
regulation of cell cycle progression. E2F6, the most recently
identified member of the E2F family, is a retinoblastoma-protein-independent transcriptional repressor that is
required for developmental patterning of the axial skeleton.
It has recently been shown that theE2f6locus produces two
different mRNAs, E2F6 and E2F6b. The E2F6b mRNA
contains an additional exon that is inserted by alternative
This book was written with the intention to pursue Dr. Stephen Goldberg's vision to make
learning ridiculously simple. It is designed to rapidly teach the clinically vital components
of radiology. The reader will acquire a solid approach to radiographic examinations commonly
interpreted without radiologist assistance, and will become comfortable at recognizing
common and dangerous conditions. Although this book is intended for medical students
and interns, it is also useful for nurses, nurse practitioners and X-ray technicians....
