International Space Station program, space food
research has met the challenge of providing food
that tastes good and travels well in space. To better understand
this process, we can look back through history.
Explorers have always had to face the problem of how to
carry enough food for their journeys. Whether those
explorers are onboard a sailing ship or on the Space
Shuttle, adequate storage space has been a problem.
The results of scenario S4 are presented in relative terms to scenario S3, i.e. the baseline
scenario in year 2020. Therefore, this analysis isolates the effects of the abolition of the milk
quota system in the EU-27 on specific economic indicators at MS and regional level. Key
results of scenario S4 are that milk production increases by about 4.4% in the EU-27, and EU
raw milk prices decline by 10%. Production of butter, skimmed and whole milk powder
would increase by 5-6% while their prices would decline by about 6-7%. The production

We show experiments for on-line convergence to a
global partitioning solution for sharing the database
buffer pool, storage cache, and disk bandwidth in dif-
ferent application conﬁgurations. We compare our ap-
proach to two baseline approaches, which optimize ei-
ther the memory partitioning, or the disk partitioning, as
well as combinations of these approaches without global
coordination. We show that for most application con-
ﬁgurations, our computed model effectively prunes most
of the search space, even without any additional tuning
through experimental sampling.
An incremental dependency parser’s probability model is entered as a predictor in a linear mixed-effects model of German readers’ eye-ﬁxation durations. This dependencybased predictor improves a baseline that takes into account word length, n-gram probability, and Cloze predictability that are typically applied in models of human reading. This improvement obtains even when the dependency parser explores a tiny fraction of its search space, as suggested by narrow-beam accounts of human sentence processing such as Garden Path theory. ...
The present work advances the accuracy and training speed of discriminative parsing. Our discriminative parsing method has no generative component, yet surpasses a generative baseline on constituent parsing, and does so with minimal linguistic cleverness. Our model can incorporate arbitrary features of the input and parse state, and performs feature selection incrementally over an exponential feature space during training. We demonstrate the ﬂexibility of our approach by testing it with several parsing strategies and various feature sets.
