I’ve gotten a few requests on sharing my VMware View Lab Setup Guides, so here goes. These guides are step-by-step guides going through all you need to get a lab environment of VMware View up and running.
The lab environment that the lab guides show consists of one ESXi-server, one vCenter Server and one VMware View Server. And of course a few virtual desktops :)
This lab environment can easily be expanded into a larger environment if needed, for instance for a larger test or proof of concept....

Why should you learn about Linux? It’s a fast-growing operating system,
and it is inexpensive and flexible. Linux is also a major player in the
small and mid-sized server field, and it’s an increasingly viable platform for
workstation and desktop use, as well. By understanding Linux, you’ll
increase your standing in the job market. Even if you already know Windows
or MacOS and your employer uses these systems exclusively, understanding
Linux will give you an edge when you are looking for a new job or if you are
looking for promotion.
This book is a gentle introduction to Linux, and as such, it is not intended as a
comprehensive guide. On the contrary, great effort has gone into this book to
keep it from becoming yet another comprehensive reference guide. I’ve been
selective about covering the topics you are most likely to use early in your
Linux hacking career.
One of the interesting things about Linux, and UNIX in general, is that
learning new ways and tools is almost an endless task. There are many
tools—too many to cover even in several “comprehensive” volumes.
Is Ajax a new technology, or the same old stuff web developers have been using for years? Both, actually. This book demonstrates not only how tried-and-true web standards make Ajax possible, but how these older technologies allow you to give sites a decidedly modern Web 2.0 feel.
Now an even more versatile learning resource, this edition adds skill objectives at the beginning of each chapter. Sobell assumes no prior Linux knowledge. He starts at the beginning and walks you through every topic and task that matters, using easy-to-understand examples.

With this new third edition of Apache: The Definitive Guide, web administrators new to Apache will come up to speed quickly, and experienced administrators will find the logically organized, concise reference sections indispensable, and system programmers interested in customizing their servers will rely on the chapters on the API and Apache modules.
