Lactation Rooms are available for employees who need to express breastmilk during work hours. These rooms have hospital-grade electric breast pumps (Medela Symphony) available for use and a sink for cleaning equipment. Massachusetts continues to lead the nation in the quality and accessibility of information for
patients and the general public. Since the launch of the Physician Profiles project in 1996, tens of
thousands of Massachusetts residents have found the information they needed to make informed
health care decisions for their families using this innovative program.
In addition to online access to the Physician Profiles, the Board of Registration in Medicine assists
consumers who do not have Internet access through a fully staffed Call Center.
