  • Centerless grinding is a high precision manufacturing process commonly applied to the mass production of many industrial components. However, workpiece roundness is critically affected by geometric lobing and no practical tool has been developed to solve the problem in throughfeed working mode. Based on simulation methods previously applied to plunge grinding, a new software tool has been developed in this work.

  • In this paper, new simulation techniques are described to determine instability-free configurations, making it possible to guarantee that the final workpiece profile is round. With this information and taking into account other process restrictions, like system static stiffness and workpiece tolerance, the optimal grinding cycle is designed. These results have been implemented into an intelligent tool to assist the application of this research in industrial environments.

  • Centerless grinding operations present some characteristic features that make the process especially susceptible to regenerative chatter instabilities. Theoretical study of these vibrations present some difficulties due to the large amount of parameters involved in the process and, in addition, such a study requires a precise determination of dynamic properties of the particular machine under study.

OBJECTIVE The objectives of Lab 3 are (1) to introduce an implementation of binary tree in C++ and (2) to practice recursion algorithms to manipulate a tree. 2. FILE-LEVEL SEPARATION of INTERFACE and IMPLEMENTATION Class interface and implementation In Lab 2, we have learnt about the concept of separation between the interface and the implementation of a class. In practice, the separation is implemented as the file-level, i.e.

  • This report was concerned with the situation of learning English for Engineering (EEE). It is fact that ESP subjects, especially EEE are worried problems. Although EEE is one of compulsory subjects, many students in FOFL, HUT did not get good marks and d06, k52 students were not an exception. The objective of this report was to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of learning EEE as well as the main reason why they did not get good mark in the final test.

  • Similar performance benefits are also available in gas turbine an reciprocating gas engine cogeneration systems. For example, an class technology gas turbine generator with feeding to an HRSG (which in turn provides process steam) can yield overall energy effectiveness levels between 80-85% depending upon process steam conditions. In comparison, the same F-class gas turbine i combined cycle (and producing power only) yields an overall energy effectiveness of between 50-55% depending upon the c design. This comparison is illustrated in Figure 3.
