It is also not to say that science is the only factor that contributes to economic growth. Politics and values, for example, clearly play important roles....

  • In addition, the fact that there have been few studies investigating the efficacy of conversational implicature to enhance Japanese high school students’ communicative competence was another cause for me to start this research. Few people seem to have examined students’ development of communicative ability in Japanese high school.

The consortium partners had set up and been funded for an European EU project to evaluate SODARs as a tool in monitoring wind flows at wind turbine sites. They felt reasonably confident in their knowledge of SODARs and had purchased some instruments, but wanted to be able to consult on any more complex issues which arose.

In this study, we found that there are wide spectra of final beneficiaries and intermediaries and concluded that there is no common microfinance business model in Europe. While our findings suggested that the microfinance market is immature and fragmented, they also pointed to its growing importance as a market segment with a potential to counter poverty and unemployment while fostering financial and social inclusion.
