Text mining and data harvesting algorithms have become popular in the computational linguistics community. They employ patterns that specify the kind of information to be harvested, and usually bootstrap either the pattern learning or the term harvesting process (or both) in a recursive cycle, using data learned in one step to generate more seeds for the next.
This paper proposes a data-driven method for concept-to-text generation, the task of automatically producing textual output from non-linguistic input. A key insight in our approach is to reduce the tasks of content selection (“what to say”) and surface realization (“how to say”) into a common parsing problem.
This paper sketches some basic features of the SYNPHONICS account of the computational modelling of incremental language production with the example of the generation of passive sentences. The SYNPHONICS approach aims at linking psycholinguistic insights into the nature of the human natural language production process with well-established assumptions in theoretical and computational linguistics concerning the representation and processing of grammatical knowledge.
The pressure for B2B marketers is on. Modern B2B buyers have an increasing tendency and capacity to
research purchasing decisions online long before they engage with Sales. They are empowered with
information, and are reluctant from a persistently struggling economy. Winning over modern B2B buyers
requires organizations to revolutionize their marketing approach, and
the barriers to success are vast.
Facing great scrutiny, we must act on the buyer’s terms, tie all
activities into revenue, and continually optimize performance.
In a Global scenario, economically progressive nations have developed medical
sciences. But still it lacks precise information during the enhancement of potent drugs
to combat ailment, which is the legacy of the organisms that generate diseases. Rising
countries had long been perceived the threat, which at times, down the lane has been
the major factor for magnanimous economic disaster and human poverty. Lot of
resources was put into force by the world community to abscond the microbial fauna
and genetically inherited diseases to contain them within the safe limits.
There is, of course, some potential overlap within these sub‐sectors, and some activities could fall
within more than one of the three main categories. For example, Additional Energy Sources could
potentially fall within the Renewable Energy sector, but has been include within Emerging Low Carbon
because it includes mainly new energy sources and those that are still in development (such as
hydrogen fuel cells).
This book has been written to support a practically oriented course in programming language
translation for senior undergraduates in Computer Science. More specifically, it is aimed at students
who are probably quite competent in the art of imperative programming (for example, in C++,
Pascal, or Modula-2), but whose mathematics may be a little weak; students who require only a
solid introduction to the subject, so as to provide them with insight into areas of language design
and implementation, rather than a deluge of theory which they will probably never use again...
A rich end-user experience has become the hallmark of search marketing. Searchers now receive instant, real-time, personalized and local information. Blended search supports these developments by generating results pages that include not only blue links, but also video, images, news, press releases, customer reviews and real-time social media content.
This colorful backdrop of search activity is the setting for MarketingSherpa’s eighth annual benchmark report of search engine marketing.
Cancer is one of the leading causes of deaths in the industrialized world (World Health
Organization [WHO], 2004) and the second leading cause of death in Germany (Federal
Statistical Office of Germany [DeStatis], 2007). It has been demonstrated that migrant cancer
incidence and mortality differs in general from cancer patterns in the respective host
Cancer is known to have a long latency period between exposure and disease onset.
Important exposure factors can be traced back to childhood and young adulthood.
Researchers are trying to meet the challenge posed by the rapidly evolving landscape
of sustainability. All in all, a lot has been done but a lot more needs to be done on the
part of researchers to meet the pace of the sustainability movement. In order to
address the sustainability deficit in education and research, InTech has invited
submissions of manuscripts for publication in its focused issue on sustainability.
The workplace has been recognized internationally as an appropriate
setting for health promotion. The importance of workplace health
promotion was addressed in 1950 and later updated in 1995 in a joint
International Labour Organization/World Health Organization session on
occupational health (5).

Visualization is the graphic presentation of data -- portrayals meant to reveal complex information at a glance. Think of the familiar map of the New York City subway system, or a diagram of the human brain. Successful visualizations are beautiful not only for their aesthetic design, but also for elegant layers of detail that efficiently generate insight and new understanding.
These methods can involve a social policy for resource
distribution. A policy is simply a set of rules for allo-
cation when resource demand exceeds resource supply.
One candidate policy is to seek efficient usage, which di-
rects amechanismto allocate resources to the set of users
who have the highest utility for the use of the resources.
Other social policies exist, such as those that favor small
experiments, or favor underrepresented stakeholders, or
(if money is involved) seek maximal revenue generation.

Finally, specific maps for an ecosystem or beneficiary group of interest can also be generated. Such maps can show either 1) the parts of the landscape from which a given beneficiary’s benefits are derived, or 2) the beneficiary groups receiving benefits from a particular ecosystem region of interest (Johnson et al. unpublished).
We have to date mapped only the spatial dynamics of carbon sequestration and storage, aesthetic views and aesthetic proximity.
Following the original reports of pre-mRNA splicing in 1977, it was
quickly realized that splicing together of different combinations of splice
sites – alternative splicing– allows individual genes to generate more than
one mRNA isoform. The full extent of alternative splicing only began to
be revealed once large-scale genome and transcriptome sequencing projects
began, rapidly revealing that alternative splicing is the rule rather than the

This book "New Insights into Toxicity and Drug Testing" covers all emerging technologies (profiling technologies, 3D cultures, next generation sequencing etc.), available methods and models to evaluate candidate drugs and medicinal plants with reference to toxicity, drug testing and development. This book is an original contribution of experts from different parts of the globe and the in-depth information will be a significant resource for scientists and physicians who are directly dealing with drugs / medicines and human life....
