Over the past 20 years, technological advances in molecular biology have
proven invaluable to the understanding of the pathogenesis of human cancer.
The application of molecular technology to the study of cancer has not only
led to advances in tumor diagnosis, but has also provided markers for the
assessment of prognosis and disease progression. The aim of Molecular Analysis
of Cancer is to provide a comprehensive collection of the most up-to-date
techniques for the detection of molecular changes in human cancer.
This book synthesizes current research in the integration of computational intelligence and pattern analysis techniques, either individually or in a hybridized manner. The purpose is to analyze biological data and enable extraction of more meaningful information and insight from it. Biological data for analysis include sequence data, secondary and tertiary structure data, and microarray data.
We propose a hybrid approach to coordinate structure analysis that combines a simple grammar to ensure consistent global structure of coordinations in a sentence, and features based on sequence alignment to capture local symmetry of conjuncts. The weight of the alignmentbased features, which in turn determines the score of coordinate structures, is optimized by perceptron training on a given corpus. Research shows that sensational news stories as well as popular romance novels

four studies described in this paper we examined the song lyrics from three Billboard

The pricing of credit-sensitive bonds, that is, bonds which have a significant probability of
default, is an issue of increasing academic and practical importance. The recent practice in
financial markets has been to issue high yield corporate bonds that are a hybrid of equity and
risk-free debt. Also, to an extent, most corporate bonds are credit-sensitive instruments,
simply because of the limited liability of the issuing enterprise. In this paper, we suggest and
implement a model for the pricing of options on credit-sensitive bonds.
