SQL Server 2012 Data Integration Recipes provides focused and practical solutions to real world problems of data integration. Need to import data into SQL Server from an outside source? Need to export data and send it to another system? SQL Server 2012 Data Integration Recipes has your back. You'll find solutions for importing from Microsoft Office data stores such as Excel and Access, from text files such as CSV files, from XML, from other database brands such as Oracle and MySQL, and even from other SQL Server databases.
"Advanced Image Acquisition, Processing Techniques and Applications" is the first book of a series that provides image processing principles and practical software implementation on a broad range of applications. The book integrates material from leading researchers on Applied Digital Image Acquisition and Processing. An important feature of the book is its emphasis on software tools and scientific computing in order to enhance results and arrive at problem solution.
This book-and-video package teaches you the essential elements of Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) from the ground upno previous knowledge of SSIS is required. Each lesson is streamlined to teach a specific component of SSIS, helping you to learn just what you need to succeed. The lessons include three major components: a description of how each SSIS feature or process works, a tutorial that walks you through the process or technique, and an accompanying video lesson, all of which present you with a thorough introduction to Microsoft business intelligence tools and SSIS....
Providing you with invaluable information for delivering rich, cross-platform Internet applications within the enterprise and across the web, this book shows you how to fully integrate Java and Flex. Pages of examples, step-by-step instructions, and from-the-field techniques guide you through the creation of your first Java/Flex applications.
In order to overcome the limitation of land available for aquaculture in the central costal region of
Vietnam and to reduce organic pollution in traditional integrated fish farming, a new method was
developed called the ‘improved VAC’ In traditional VAC systems the manure from farm animals is
released into fish ponds whereas in the ‘Improved VAC’ the manure is used for earthworm culture.
The worm production is then used to feed high value fish species in tanks.
In the design of an integrated circuit, the designer is faced with the challenge
of having circuits and systems function over multiple operating
points. From the point of view of performance, the circuit must meet its
speed requirements over a range of voltages and temperatures that reflect
the environment that the circuit is operating in. Also while the performance
requirement must be met at a set of worst-case conditions for speed,
the power requirement must be simultaneously met at another set of worstcase
conditions for power....
These two texts in this one cover, entitled ‘An introduction to the standard methods of elementary integration’ (Part I)
and ‘The integration of ordinary differential equations’ (Part II), are two of the ‘Notebook’ series available as additional
and background reading to students at Newcastle University (UK). This pair constitutes a basic introduction to both
the elementary methods of integration, and also the application of some of these techniques to the solution of standard
ordinary differential equations.
This report is the final product of a Committee on Earth Studies (CES) examination of technical and programmatic
issues related to the integration of research and operational Earth observation satellite systems in the support
of climate research (see Appendix A for the statement of task).
We present Wikulu1 , a system focusing on supporting wiki users with their everyday tasks by means of an intelligent interface. Wikulu is implemented as an extensible architecture which transparently integrates natural language processing (NLP) techniques with wikis. It is designed to be deployed with any wiki platform, and the current prototype integrates a wide range of NLP algorithms such as keyphrase extraction, link discovery, text segmentation, summarization, or text similarity.
We have analyzed 607 sentences of spontaneous human-computer speech data containing repairs, drawn from a total corpus of 10,718 sentences. We present here criteria and techniques for automatically detecting the presence of a repair, its location, and making the appropriate correction. The criteria involve integration of knowledge from several sources: pattern matching, syntactic and semantic analysis, and acoustics. INTRODUCTION Spontaneous spoken language often includes speech that is not intended by the speaker to be part of the content of the utterance. ...
All are expected to observe the highest standards of research integrity and to
embed good practice in all aspects of their work, including the training of new
researchers. They must operate honestly and openly in respect of their own
actions and in response to the actions of others involved in research.
The spectrum of inappropriate behaviour is wide, ranging from minor
misdemeanours which may happen occasionally and inadvertently, to significant
acts of misappropriation or fabrication.
In this paper, we present a novel approach for automatic summarization. Our system, called CBSEAS, integrates a new method to detect redundancy at its very core, and produce more expressive summaries than previous approaches. Moreover, we show that our system is versatile enough to integrate opinion mining techniques, so that it is capable of producing opinion oriented summaries. The very competitive results obtained during the last Text Evaluation Conference (TAC 2008) show that our approach is efficient. ...
(BQ) Ebook Problems in mathematical analysis of problems and exercises in mathematical anal ysis covers the maximum requirements of general courses in higher mathematics for higher technical schools. it contains over 3,000 problems sequentially arranged in chapters i to x covering all branches of higher mathematics (with the exception of ana lytical geometry) given in college courses.
In this paper, we describe the research using machine learning techniques to build a comma checker to be integrated in a grammar checker for Basque. After several experiments, and trained with a little corpus of 100,000 words, the sys tem guesses correctly not placing com mas with a precision of 96% and a re call of 98%. It also gets a precision of 70% and a recall of 49% in the task of placing commas. Finally, we have shown that these results can be im proved using a bigger and a more ho mogeneous corpus to train, that is,...
Our MT systems integrate many advanced concepts from the fields of computer science, linguistics, and AI : specialized languages for linguistic programming based on production systems, complete linguistic programming environment, multilevel representations, organization of the lexicons around "lexical units", units of translation of the size of several paragraphs, possibility of using text-driven heuristic strategies.
The paper describes a software demo integrating Natural Language Generation (NLG) techniques with recent developments in XML web technology. The NLG techniques include a form of template-based generation, transformation of text plan trees to text specification trees, and a multi-stage pipeline architecture. The web technology includes XSLT transformation processors, an XML database, a Java servlet engine, the Cocoon web publishing framework and a Java speech synthesizer. The software is all free, open-source. ...
Languages other than English have received little attention as far as the application of natural language processing techniques to text composition is concerned. The present paper describes briefly work under development aiming at the design of an integrated environment for the construction and verification of documents written in Spanish. in a first phase, a dictionary of Spanish has been implemented, together with a synonym dictionary.
Owing to the diffusion ofmaterial fromone foil to
another, no borderline limitations between single foils in terms of heat transfer exist
any more. Thus, the thermal behavior of diffusion-bonded devices is superior in
comparison to that of the devices manufactured by other bonding techniques. In
Figure 1.13, the diffusion bonding process chain is shown clockwise, starting with
the single foils stack of a cross-flow stainless steel device. Figure 1.14 shows a cut
through a diffusion-bonded stainless steel device.
To investigate the contributions of taggers or chunkers to the performance of a deep syntactic parser, Weighted Constraint Dependency Grammars have been extended to also take into consideration information from external sources. Using a weak information fusion scheme based on constraint optimization techniques, a parsing accuracy has been achieved which is comparable to other (stochastic) parsers.
