The [NASA] Administrator, in consultation with other agencies with space science programs, shall enter into an ar-
rangement with the National Academies to assess impediments, including cost growth, to the successful conduct of
interagency cooperation on space science missions, to provide lessons learned and best practices, and to recommend
steps to help facilitate successful interagency collaborations on space science missions.
Finally, mindful of the importance of using limited resources to greatest efficiency, the strategy
focuses on investing in the areas most likely to achieve maximum impact. As such, interventions
are targeted at pregnant mothers and children up to the age of two years as the critical window
of opportunity for reducing undernutrition and its adverse effects. (Lancet series on Maternal

The following paragraphs describe a set of activities leading to development of a watershed and water
quality management plan for the MRB. The tasks described below create a framework for the study. It is
anticipated that these tasks will be accomplished in a collaborative fashion; study goals will be set by the
Interagency Study Team, and individual partners will develop data, models, and other pertinent information
to accomplish each task in cooperation with the other partners.
The Interagency List of Essential Medical Devices for Reproductive Health was developed by
WHO in collaboration with UNICEF and UNFPA and major international and
nongovernmental organizations active in the field of reproductive health. In 2004 and 2005,
several interagency meetings were held to discuss the discrepancy medical devices existing
among the various lists.
