technical paradigms and emerging methodologies in developing software products.
The SPL consists of two main processes: the domain-engineering process and the

While labeled data is expensive to prepare, ever increasing amounts of unlabeled linguistic data are becoming widely available. In order to adapt to this phenomenon, several semi-supervised learning (SSL) algorithms, which learn from labeled as well as unlabeled data, have been developed. In a separate line of work, researchers have started to realize that graphs provide a natural way to represent data in a variety of domains.
A three-stage method for compressing bi-level line-drawing images is proposed. In the first stage, the raster image is vectorized using a combination of skeletonizing and line tracing algorithm. A feature image is then reconstructed from the extracted vector elements. In the second stage, the original image is processed by a feature-based filter for removing noise near the borders of the extracted line elements. This improves the image quality and results in more compressible raster image. In the final stage, the filtered raster image is compressed using the baseline JBIG algorithm....

software environments are plausible for achieving both accuracy and speed in text
Skylines, and other directly related problems such as multiobjective opti-
mization [Steuer 1986], maximum vectors [Kung et al. 1975; Matousek 1991],
and the contour problem [McLain 1974], have been extensively studied and nu-
merous algorithms have been proposed formain-memory processing. To the best
of our knowledge, however, the ﬁrst work addressing skylines in the context of
databaseswasBorzsonyi et al. ,which develops algorithms based on block
nested loops, divide-and-conquer, and index scanning. An improved version of
