  • This book is a very hands-on companion to my best-selling first investing book, If It’s Raining in Brazil, Buy Starbucks. In that book, I introduced the revolution- ary concept of “macrowave investing”; and since the publication of that book, I have received countless requests from readers to illustrate, in a very hands-on way, just how to apply macrowave investing concepts to the day-to-day management of their individual portfolios.

  • Treatment of Neuropathic Pain It is important to individualize treatment for patients with neuropathic pain. Several general principles should guide therapy: the first is to move quickly to provide relief; a second is to minimize drug side effects. For example, in patients with postherpetic neuralgia and significant cutaneous hypersensitivity, topical lidocaine (Lidoderm patches) can provide immediate relief without side effects. Anticonvulsants (gabapentin or pregabalin, see above) or antidepressants can be used as first-line drugs for patients with neuropathic pain.

This is truly a unique and important record of the Apollo program’s achievements and the United States’ demonstrated capability and technological preeminence. I hope this capability will be advanced broadly as we move forward with innovative and beneficial aeronautics, space exploration, space science, and applications activities.
