In this paper, we introduce a framework that identifies online plagiarism by exploiting lexical, syntactic and semantic features that includes duplication-gram, reordering and alignment of words, POS and phrase tags, and semantic similarity of sentences. We establish an ensemble framework to combine the predictions of each model. Results demonstrate that our system can not only find considerable amount of real-world online plagiarism cases but also outperforms several state-of-the-art algorithms and commercial software. ...

What is common practice in one culture may not seem so to another. This is as true in the publishing world
as it is anywhere else. If cultural differences create confusion around what constitutes appropriate teamwork
or plagiarism, good science may never make it into publishers’ workflow. Where manuscripts are written
by non-native English speakers, getting to the root of the science presented can be time consuming and
challenging for editors and reviewers who face the task of separating their assessment of the research
from that of the language itself.
The idea of collaborative science, and of appropriate attribution to previous work, vary greatly from culture
to culture. In some cultures, the reference to another researcher’s concepts must be cited even when not
quoting a previously published work directly. In other cultures, copying entire sections of another’s work and
incorporating them into one’s own is an acceptable way of demonstrating the influence of that prior work.
This collection offers new perspectives on ethical naturalism, narrowly

are moral properties and facts, the other that at least some such properties
and facts are natural properties and facts. Thus understood, ethical
naturalism is distinct from, though usually motivated by, philosophical
naturalism, a more general metaphysical outlook according to which all
there is is the world as conceived by science.

The Ethics and Sport series aims to support and contribute to the development
of the study of ethical issues in sport, and indeed to the establishing of
Sports Ethics as a legitimate discipline in its own right. It does this by identifying
issues of practical concern and exploring them systematically
Given the logical basis of ethics at the heart of sport as a practical activity,
every important and topical issue in sport necessarily has an ethical dimension
– and often the ethical dimension is of overwhelming significance.
