Using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method for multi-index evaluation has special
advantages, while the use of geographic information systems (GIS) is suitable for spatial
analysis. Combining AHP with GIS provides an effective approach for studies of mineral
potential mapping evaluation. Selection of potential areas for exploration is a complex
process in which many diverse criteria are to be considered.

Comprehensive and authoritative baseline geospatial data content is crucial
to the nation and to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). To maintain its prominence,
realize its potential, and fulfill its mission to develop and distribute these
national data assets in a fast-moving information technology environment,

In this paper, we
employ the bias-adjusted matching estimator developed by Abadie and Imbens (2006), which
overcomes this difficulty. The matching estimator analysis maps the multiple matching variables
into a single number that measures the distance to the observation to be matched and selects as
control observations those with the lowest value for this distance. Matching estimators,
therefore, make it possible to use several matching variables simultaneously.
Mapping Service Requirements to Network Resources
The ability to properly map services to network resources in a multi-service network is highly important both for making the initial conﬁguration of a network domain, and also as a basis for performing network conﬁguration optimization. The basic task in both cases is the same, although in the latter case there is an initial conﬁguration to start with, as well as potentially a larger number of existing boundary conditions for the new conﬁguration.
The birth of livestock genomics 15 years ago was inspired by the human genome initiative
and the potential for capturing both its technologies and massive comparative data
sets for application to livestock species, most of which are mammals. We are currently
reaping the benefits of these efforts, with sequencing projects completed or ongoing in
chickens, cattle, pigs, and horses and valuable mapping resources developed for others
such as sheep and turkeys.
Along with providing more realistic views of ecosystem service provision and use, these flow maps can also enable improved value transfer.
