In this paper, we introduce a method of extending the domain of a random mapping admitting the series expansion. This method is based on the convergence of certain random series. Some conditions under which a random mapping can be extended to apply to all $X$ - valued random variables will be presented.

Solving the system of equations describing the stationary operation of a two-mode random microlaser we have found the transformation of saturated values of mode intensity when laser parameters as gain and loss coefficients as well as field coupling, photon hopping coefficients vary. From obtained results we determined which parameter takes the most important role for stationary operation of random microlasers.

We study random surfaces which arise as height functions of random perfect matchings (a.k.a. dimer conﬁgurations) on a weighted, bipartite, doubly periodic graph G embedded in the plane. We derive explicit formulas for the surface tension and local Gibbs measure probabilities of these models. The answers involve a certain plane algebraic curve, which is the spectral curve of the Kasteleyn operator of the graph. For example, the surface tension is the Legendre dual of the Ronkin function of the spectral curve.
Further, the average serial correlation in sales changes for our sample firms is .17 which is also approximately consistent with a random walk. The assumption is not critical to most of our results (the major exception is that earnings is a random walk).
