Tuyển tập các báo cáo nghiên cứu về sinh học được đăng trên tạp chí sinh học quốc tế đề tài : Key factors leading to reduced recruitment and retention of health professionals in remote areas of Ghana: a qualitative study and proposed policy solutions
The development of robust accuracy assessment methods for the validation of spatial data
represents a difficult challenge for the geospatial science community. The importance and timeliness
of this issue are related directly to the dramatic escalation in the development and application of
spatial data throughout the latter 20th century. This trend, which is expected to continue, will
become increasingly pervasive and continue to revolutionize future decision-making processes.
Nowadays it is hard to find areas of human activity and development that have not
profited from or contributed to remote sensing. Natural, physical and social activities
find in remote sensing a common ground for interaction and development. From the
end-user point of view, Earth science, geography, planning, resource management,
public policy design, environmental studies, and health, are some of the areas whose
recent development has been triggered and motivated by remote sensing.
Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council and represents the first step in an incremental and
collaborative approach to implement ecosystem approaches to fishery management in the Pacific
Remote Island Areas (PRIA) of Baker Island, Johnston Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll,
Kingman Reef, Wake Island and Palmyra Atoll.
Using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method for multi-index evaluation has special
advantages, while the use of geographic information systems (GIS) is suitable for spatial
analysis. Combining AHP with GIS provides an effective approach for studies of mineral
potential mapping evaluation. Selection of potential areas for exploration is a complex
process in which many diverse criteria are to be considered.
Nowadays it is hard to find areas of human activity and development that have not profited from or contributed to remote sensing. Natural, physical and social activities find in remote sensing a common ground for interaction and development. This book intends to show the reader how remote sensing impacts other areas of science, technology, and human activity, by displaying a selected number of high quality contributions dealing with different remote sensing applications.
f you are like the rest of the networking community, you probably have
many certifications. Certification is one of the best things you can do for
your career in the computer or networking field. It proves that you know
what you’re talking about when it comes to the area in which you are
In this book, you’ll find out what the Network+ exam is all about. Each
chapter covers a part of the exam. At the end of each chapter, there are
review questions to help you prepare for the exam....
Remote sensing can be used to support a wide range of applications in Earth’s land surface
information management. Typical applications concern, e.g., the mapping of changes due to
the effects of pollution and environmental degradation over different periods of time, thanks
to the high frequency of coverage of the Earth surface by satellites.

The delivery of mental health services to infants, toddlers, preschoolers,
and their families involves a complex interweaving of skills that
straddle disciplines and test boundaries. Provision of such services is
a testament to the strength of practitioners who struggle to balance the
necessary knowledge base, application strategies, and self-awareness
required by the work.
small water bodies like ponds now contributes 80% of the country’s inland
fish production. However, future growth in freshwater aquaculture to meet
rising demand for fish is likely to be constrained by limited supplies of land for
digging new ponds and of water to fill them.
In this context, reservoirs offer immense scope for increasing fish production.
Then at the end of 2001, FSM Telecom discovered
ADC’s compact GSM and CDMA systems for
developing countries and hard-to-serve areas.
The result was that FSM Telecom could costeffectively
build small-scale networks throughout
the islands that could contend with the extreme
climate conditions. In addition, satellite backhaul
is optimized and implemented cost-effectively due
to the advanced compression technology in the
Telerobotics is the area of robotics concerned with the control of robots from a distance,
mainly using wireless connections or the Internet. It is a combination of two major subfields,
teleoperation and telepresence. The work presented in this chapter belongs to the field of
teleoperated robots, where a remote centre sets commands to the robot and supervises the
performed motion by receiving feedback from its sensors.
Due to faster deployment and lower cost of wireless local loop (WLL) infrastructure as compared to a wired one, worldwide roll-out of WLL service has been highly anticipated. Most of WLL systems deployed so far belong to narrowband systems mainly aimed at providing voice service. These systems can be used as a bypass of wire-line local loop in dense areas and as an extension of existing telephone network in remote areas. In recent years, media-rich content of Internet has put speed pressure on the local loop.

The second future path for social funds is as special-purpose vehicles,
providing selective seed capital to foster innovations in community de-
velopment, to experiment with new technologies, and to act as the
government’s agent in remote areas and for very small-scale activities.
Even though many of the social funds might already characterize them-
selves as special-purpose vehicles, they have gotten much broader.
Thanks to their traditional decentralised organisation and large distribution network, savings
banks have built strong local roots and gained extensive experience in developing relation-
ships with major stakeholders in the local communities. Thus, they are deeply involved in the
life of the area where they operate and have a thorough understanding of the socio-eco-
nomic challenges and environment. They actively contribute to local and regional economic
and social development, including in the most remote areas and underserved communities.
