This book mainly presents strategies to write effectively in real world engineering/science situations, assuring that what you write is really read. It shows how to present your ideas so that your target audience understands it. It describes the characteristics that a document aimed to a technical person, to a lay person and to a manager should have.
Besides, it shows how to write memos, letters, reports and even e-mails, explaining from the initial document outline, sentece/paragraph structure to the final polished form.
PeakOil: the moment that we’ve taken out half of the oil that was out there and
times of a cheap and abundant oil driven economy are for ever over. A time of
severe growth of demand, declining supply, expensive exploration, higher prices by
these three, beyond limits shortages, huge regional and geopolitical tensions.
Undersupply of everything we need, and oversupply of shortages. Is this situation
this our outlook? Let’s not hope so.
Research objectives To establishment the theory, assess situation and manage the development of the lecturer, which have raised a number of solutions to manage the development of the lecturer in vocational colleges to meet the needs of training for workforce in Mekong Delta for the upcoming period.
This project report is an analysis of the current situation, needs, and potential medium-and long-term strategies to develop agricultural research and extension in Viet Nam. The report provides a long-term road map for agriculture research and extension assistanceand it will be used as a basis for the development of a forthcoming ADB technical assistance, which will in turn be used as a basis for a proposed investment loan in Agricultural Science and Technology.
The thesis researchs the real situation and solutions teaching reading comprehension literary scripts in secondary schools following features of the genre in order to gradually improve the quality of teaching and learning literary scripts in secondary schools on demand innovation method of teaching today.
Research purpose: Improving quality and efficiency of developing the creative idea of the military social sciences and humanities postgraduate, to meet the requirements to further improve the quality of training of military social sciences and humanities postgraduate in the new situation. Propose basic solutions for developing the creative idea of the military social sciences and humanities postgraduate today.
“Self-studying social sciences and humanities skills of cadets at division level” is a subject matter of Psychology in the military education. The author has researched on the theoretical and practical studies to develop the concept of self-studyning skills of social sciences and humanities of cadets at division level, including essential elements of the skill, stages of building the skill and important factors effecting the skill; specifying the situation and propose psychological - pedagogical measures to improve the skills.
To enhance learning (RL) is a branch en ot the foundation cial intelligence
and has been one of the central themes in a wide range of scientifi c fi elds final
two decades. Understanding of the RL is expected to provide a systematic understanding
the adaptive behaviors, including simple things of classical and operant animal
as well as all acts of social and economic complexity of the human is designed to
ts maximize the effect, and also very helpful in learning computer and robot. RL aims to fi nd

Like most technical disciplines, environmental science and engineering is becoming increasingly specialized. As industry professionals focus on specific environmental subjects they become less familiar with environmental problems and solutions outside their area of expertise. This situation is compounded by the fact that many environmental science related terms are confusing. Prefixes such as bio-, enviro-, hydra-, and hydro- are used so frequently that it is often hard to tell the words apart.
OF all disciplines necessary to the criminal justice in addition to
the knowledge of law, the most important are those derived from
psychology. For such sciences teach him to know the type of man
it is his business to deal with. Now psychological sciences appear
in various forms. There is a native psychology, a keenness of vision
given in the march of experience, to a few fortunate persons, who
see rightly without having learned the laws which determine the
course of events, or without being even conscious of them.
The state of aquatic ecosystems reflects the general state of the biosphere. The situation
in the biosphere affected by anthropogenic factors was characterized as “a slow
explosion” (Fedorov 1987). The global change in the biosphere and climatic system
of the Earth is a manifestation of this “slow explosion” (World Resources
1990–1991, Izrael et al. 1992).
Various mesoscopic systems have their own unique characteristics, some of
which are of importance due to bridging function over classical and quantum
mechanics. It is quite natural that human beings living in macroscopic world
could hardly grasp the phenomena occurring in the microscopic world in an
intuitive manner. This situation offers a vital sense in the "observation" problem
necessarily accompanied with the classical means. The fundamental core of the
argument between Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen and Bohr starting in 1935 actually
lies in this point.
Agricultural production resorts to the use of a varied and large quantity of insecticides
to improve the production and preservation of foodstuff. Thus, the use of insecticides
has increased rapidly and is now widespread. Beneficial insects like parasitoids
pathogens, predators and pollinators have gained significance. IPM programs have
demonstrated that current levels of pesticide use are not necessary in many situations
and are frequently even counter-productive.
Our primary objective herein is not to determine how approximate calculations introduce
errors into situations with accurate hypotheses, but instead to study how rigorous
calculations transmit errors due to inaccurate parameters or hypotheses. Unlike quantities
represented by entire numbers, the continuous quantities generated from physics,
economics or engineering sciences, as represented by one or several real numbers, are
compromised by errors.
The motivation for this work is the need to establish a methodology for the study of
sustainable systems in situations where conventional analysis cannot provide satisfactory
information on the complexities of social phenomena and social actors.
In this paper we will prove the Calabi-Yau conjectures for embedded surfaces (i.e., surfaces without self-intersection). In fact, we will prove considerably more. The heart of our argument is very general and should apply to a variety of situations, as will be more apparent once we describe the main steps of the proof later in the introduction.
Quang Ninh Province, situated in Northeast coast of Vietnam, has about 250km of shoreline, many estuaries, and tidal flats and over 2000 islands. The diversified nature, natural landscapes and ecosystems grant the province a great potential for tourism and specially seafood products. Peanut-worms (Sipunculus nudus) are exploited and used as popular seafood in international and domestic markets as special food of high nutritional and pharmaceutical value.
In this article we study several homology theories of the algebra E ∞ (X) of Whitney functions over a subanalytic set X ⊂ Rn with a view towards noncommutative geometry. Using a localization method going back to Teleman we prove a Hochschild-Kostant-Rosenberg type theorem for E ∞ (X), when X is a regular subset of Rn having regularly situated diagonals. This includes the case of subanalytic X. We also compute the Hochschild cohomology of E ∞ (X) for a regular set with regularly situated diagonals and derive the cyclic and periodic cyclic theories. ...
