Vietnam has more 3000km of coastline and the features of the coastal zone in various areas (Northeast area, Red River Delta, Central Region and Mekong River Delta) are also different. Therefore, it is necessary to study specific characteristics of each area and find out the suitable boundaries for the coastal zone.

To practise evidence-based veterinary medicine we require a range of skills that we may not have.
The vertex of the adenoviral capsid is formed by the penton, a complex of
two proteins, the pentameric penton base and the trimeric fiber protein.
The penton contains all necessary components for viral attachment and
entry into the host cell. After initial attachment via the head domain of the
fiber protein, the penton base interacts with cellular integrins through an
Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) motif located in a hypervariable surface loop, trigger-ing virus internalization.
Base excision DNA repair (BER) is fundamentally important in handling

This demo abstract describes the SmartWeb Ontology-based Annotation system (SOBA). A key feature of SOBA is that all information is extracted and stored with respect to the SmartWeb Integrated Ontology (SWIntO). In this way, other components of the systems, which use the same ontology, can access this information in a straightforward way. We will show how information extracted by SOBA is visualized within its original context, thus enhancing the browsing experience of the end user.
Transition-based dependency parsers are often forced to make attachment decisions at a point when only partial information about the relevant graph conﬁguration is available. In this paper, we describe a model that takes into account complete structures as they become available to rescore the elements of a beam, combining the advantages of transition-based and graph-based approaches. We also propose an efﬁcient implementation that allows for the use of sophisticated features and show that the completion model leads to a substantial increase in accuracy.
We extend the original entity-based coherence model (Barzilay and Lapata, 2008) by learning from more ﬁne-grained coherence preferences in training data. We associate multiple ranks with the set of permutations originating from the same source document, as opposed to the original pairwise rankings. We also study the eﬀect of the permutations used in training, and the eﬀect of the coreference component used in entity extraction.
This paper describes unsupervised learning algorithm for disambiguating verbal word senses using term weight learning. In our method, collocations which characterise every sense are extracted using similarity-based estimation. For the results, term weight learning is performed. Parameters of term weighting are then estimated so as to maximise the collocations which characterise every sense and minimise the other collocations. The resuits of experiment demonstrate the effectiveness of the method. ...
We compare four similarity-based estimation methods against back-off and maximum-likelihood estimation methods on a pseudo-word sense disambiguation task in which we controlled for both unigram and bigram frequency. The similarity-based methods perform up to 40% better on this particular task. We also conclude that events that occur only once in the training set have major impact on similarity-based estimates.
