The study provides a comprehensive picture of the animal feed sector in Vietnam (both supply and
demand side) upon data collected from 2 main surveys: feed mill survey investigating the supply side
and producer survey investigating the demand side. The results show that, on the supply side, SMEs
appear to have less competitiveness than large ones. That is reflected in some aspects such as higher
production costs per kg output, using more labor, limited quality control, limited access to capital and
land, and many small enterprises have losses.

with less cost. This paper describes a new model using critical success factors of implementing
projects in small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The factors in the conceptual model were
identified in past studies and are validated from interviews with 20 project managers in the electronics
industry in Iran. Several prior researches have suggested critical success factors for reducing time and
cost in the development of a new product. These factors are...

processes in due correlation with all the rest, and the supervision of the interstitial adjustments of the system,
are commonly conceived to be a work of greater consequence to the community's well−being than any of the
detail work involved in carrying...

The Tesla plant in Lanskroun, Czech Republic, was the only producer of capacitors in Czechoslovakia, and of machinery
for that purpose. After central planning was abolished, AVX Kyocera gradually took over the plant and a process of selective
restructuring took place. The combination of gradual change and a positive outlook for the long-term viability of operations
encouraged many former employees (the average qualification level was high) to set up their own small supplier firms for
AVX Kyocera. After a few years, these local suppliers were able to compete with Japanese suppliers.
Despite all the above and whatever impacts technology, global economies and terrorism are
likely to have, there is still the desire amongst international associations to meet, press the flesh
and exchange views which will always remain. According to ICCA the UK’s market share of
the international association congress segment remains stable at around 5.6% and is second
only to the USA.
The development of the small and medium enterprise sector is deemed crucial for economic growth and poverty alleviation. Such firms are often though to be at a disadvantage when compared with larger enterprises, but the reverse can apply, for example in the more flexible approach of the smaller firm. This paper draws on a private sector survey in 80 countries examining whether business obstacles are related to firm size.
