Consulting is a knowledge-intensive industry, in which human resources are considered
to be the most important asset. This industry, which had been flourishing
until recently, has attracted the interest of academia, private business, public authorities
and even journalists. As a result, a broad range of issues related to this
sector have been explored in detail. However, only a few contributions deal with

Swiss producers of high-quality consumer products will have to be aware of the
risks inherent to selling products through the multiple layers of the traditional retail
sector with its small stores and the many wholesalers/distributors between
producer and customer: Control over the product is easily lost, and a producer
must make sure that the quality (and brand image) of his products are not
compromised by inadequate handling, storage, delays in delivery etc.
PSI and YouthAIDS rely on partnership, and they work to harness different capabilities
and strengths from their partners to enhance end results. Indeed, because all of
PSI/YouthAIDS’ programmatic work is conducted in-country, it cannot operate
effectively or efficiently as a global organization without local cooperation and
knowledge. Partnership helps to avoid duplication of effort and also works to maximize
health impact given limited budget.
It has been suggested that in a number of professions soft skills may be more important over the long term than occupational skills. The legal profession is one example where the ability to deal with people effectively and politely, more than their mere occupational skills, can determine the professional success of a lawyer.

In the spring of 2010, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and several
partners embarked on an intensive process to examine the current state of knowledge
regarding chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) prevention. he process included
identifying public health gaps and generating a set of goals that would deine the unique role

The HHS Pandemic Influenza Plan has three parts, the first two of which are contained in this document. Part
