Phytochemical analysis of the leaves of Aglaia gigantea, Aglaia dasyclada and Aglaia oligophylla collected in Vietnam yielded three terpenoids, which included two triterpene Foveolin B (1), Niloticin (2) and one tetraterpene Lutein (3). The structures of these compounds were elucidated through extensive 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy and analysis of their mass spectrometric data.

authorities from every jurisdiction submitting responses indicated that their LRSPs contained
provisions using credit ratings for the purpose of determining net or regulatory capital, and
more LRSPs are applied to capital requirements than to any other category of use. Credit
ratings were generally used in those LRSPs as a means of mapping credit risks to capital
charges or risk weights.
A truly distributed service would allow a client to use services by connecting to a broker

Given the considerable variation in deposit insurance arrangements and the relatively
large number of banking crises, it is possible to use this panel to test whether the nature of the
deposit insurance system has a significant impact on the probability of a banking crisis once
other factors are controlled for. We carry out these tests using the multivariate logit econometric
model developed in our previous work on the determinants of banking crises (Demirg†e-Kunt
and Detragiache, 1998).
It has been a decade since book-length writing about law and the Internet began
in earnest. Ethan Katsh’s wonderful book Law in a Digital World (1995) is
just over a decade old, and anticipated the flood. My first book, Code and Other
Laws of Cyberspace (1999), is just under.
Most of these early books had a common character. We were all trying first to
make the obscure understandable, and second, to draw lessons from the understood
about how law and technology needed to interact.
In this paper we show that nontraded goods (in ¯nal consumption and in retail services)
play an important role in exchange rate behavior in the context of an otherwise standard
open-economy macro model. In our model, nontraded goods have an important role even
though °uctuations in the relative price of nontraded goods account for a small proportion
of real exchange rate °uctuations.
Our quantitative study with nontraded goods generates
implications along several dimensions that are more closely in line with the data relative to
the model that abstracts from nontraded goods.
Lipases (triacylglycerol acylhydrolases, E.C. 18.104.22.168) are ubiquitous enzymes of consid-
erable physiological significance and industrial potential. Lipases catalyze the hydrolysis of
triacylglycerols to glycerol and free fatty acids. In contrast to esterases, lipases are activated
only when adsorbed to an oil–water interface (Martinelle et al., 1995) and do not hydrolyze
dissolved substrates in the bulk fluid. A true lipase will split emulsified esters of glycerine
and long-chain fatty acids such as triolein and tripalmitin. Lipases are serine hydrolases.
