  • Calculation of the induced voltage Ui induced voltage in a cable system depends on the mutual inductance between the core and sheath, wires and eventually current cable length: LM is mutual inductivity core and shell (H / km). Inductivity interplay between core and shell LM calculated as follows: To install the formation of trefoil

  • Author: Rakesh Parekh Microchip Technology Inc. created naturally in the stator because of the nature of the supply. DC motors depend either on mechanical or electronic commutation to create rotating magnetic fields. A single-phase AC induction motor depends on extra electrical components to produce this rotating magnetic field. Two sets of electromagnets are formed inside any motor. In an AC induction motor, one set of electromagnets is formed in the stator because of the AC supply connected to the stator windings.

  • It is my privilege to do my Masters in Electrical Engineering Department at Boise State University. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my Professors for providing me with quality and technical education, guidance and motivation. The special courses and the research have induced valuable concepts and good understanding of the subject. I would like to thank MURI (Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative Program) for funding this project. Very special thanks to my advisor, Dr.

  • Concept: Generators convert mechanical energy to electric energy. Motors convert electric energy to mechanical energy. The construction of motors and generators are similar. Every generator can operate as a motor and vice versa. The energy or power balance is : Generator: Mechanical power = electric power + losses Motor: Electric Power = Mechanical Power + losses.

  • The large-conductance, voltage-dependent and Ca 2+ -dependent K + (BK) channel links membrane depolarization and local increases in cytosolic free Ca 2+ to hyperpolarizing K + outward currents, thereby controlling smooth muscle contractility. Constitutive deletion of the BK channel in mice (BK )⁄ ) ) leads to an overactive bladder associated with increased intravesi-cal pressure and frequent micturition, which has been revealed to be a result of detrusor muscle hyperexcitability.

  • In this study, we isolated a 25-kDa novel snake venom protein, designated ablomin, from the venom of the Japanese Mamushi snake (Agkistrodon blomhoffi). The amino-acid sequence of this protein was determined by peptide sequencing and cDNA cloning. The deduced sequence showed high similarity to helothermine from the Mexican beaded lizard (Heloderma horridum horridum), which blocks voltage-gated calcium and potassium channels, and ryanodine receptors. Ablomin blocked contraction of rat tail arterial smooth muscle elicited by high K+-induced depolarization in the 0.
