Effect of hydraulic retention time on nitrogen removal in domestic wastewater by partial nitritation and anammox processes

The main purpose of the study was (i) to evaluate the effect of nitrogen treatment on domestic effluent of the model system, (ii) to determine the appropriate water retention time of the system.
