TEACHERS' BELIEFS AND STUDENTS' PREFERENCES TOWARDS<br />

Abstract: This p^>er aims to find out any differences between the teachers* belief and<br />
students' actual pre^vnces towards the oral corrective feedbacks given hi speaking class in<br />
order to see to what extent the teachers have met theh students* ejqiectations. The participants<br />
are 80 first year students at Bl and B2 level and IS teachers at Intemationai Standa^ Program,<br />
Falculty of English, Universi^ of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National<br />
Universi^, Hanoi. To collect the result, quesdonnaires and interviews for both teachers and<br />
students are fully employed<br />
