In this study, we successfully synthesized a bimetallic metal-organic framework material Zn/Co-ZIF to start Peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for organic dye degradation in the water body. Material characterization was evaluated by advanced methods, such as XRD, FT-IR, SEM, EDX, and BET. The influence of different factors on methylene blue (MB) decomposition rate was investigated.

Recent sequencing technologies enable joint quantification of promoters and their enhancer regions, allowing inference of enhancer–promoter links. We show that current enhancer–promoter inference methods produce a high rate of false positive links. We introduce FOCS, a new inference method, and by benchmarking against ChIAPET, HiChIP, and eQTL data show that it results in lower false discovery rates and at the same time higher inference power.

South Western Anatolia is dominated by E-W and NW-SE trending active faults. The dip-slip Yatağan Fault is one of these active structures that trends in a NW direction for ~30 km. To assess the relative tectonic activity of the Yatağan Fault, two geomorphic segments were defined along the fault: the FS-1 (northern segment) and the FS-2 (southern segment). The vertical slip rate pattern of the fault was analyzed using steepness indexes, chi (χ) plots, and log-log slope area graphs.

The Aegean region is one of the most seismically active regions in Turkey and comprises the Hellenic Arc, Greece, and Western Turkey. The Tuzla Fault, which lies between the town of Menderes and Cape Doğanbey, is one of the major seismic threats in western Turkey due to its seismic potential to generate a major earthquake (M 6, near Doğanbey Cape in 1992) and proximity to the city of İzmir which sustained damage due to the earthquake that occurred in the Aegean Sea on October 30th, 2020.

In this study, 341 Bacillus sp. strains were isolated from agricultural soils of Turkey. The potent extracellular lipase producer was selected. It was identified by 16S rRNA, named as Bacillus cereus ATA179. Optimal nutritional and physical parameters for lipase production were determined. Sucrose as the carbon source, (NH4 )2 HPO4 as the nitrogen source, CaCl2 as the metal ion were obtained. The best results of physical parameters were stated at 45°C, pH 7.0, shaking rate 50 rpm, inoculation amount 7% and inoculum age 24 h.

This study will analyse the tax strategy that shaped the design of the suite of local property tax from the enactment of the legislation to the implementation of the tax and active collection programme by the Revenue Commissioners that lead to the high compliance rate. The fallout from this is discussed in addition to the advantages, disadvantages and obstacles to implementing such a framework. This paper also highlights the possible expansion of Revenues effective tax collection abilities to encompass future taxes and increased responsibilities.

The results indicated that human resource for the health management information system was at low qualification. Only 29% of statistical staffs had graduation or post – graduate education, especially, the rate of personnel trained in statistic was very low (2.9%). The majority of staffs did the statistical activities as part-time job and the average number of years working in statistical field was 6.

Adopting the action research design, the article reports the ratings and feedback of 80 participants on these early initiatives. The findings suggest that case studies could foster critical awareness, critical reading skills as well as the authenticity of classroom texts and tasks. However, test washback, a lack of recency and coherence across the curriculum stood out as the major obstacles to improving the efficiency of this activity.

The importance of two putative Zn2+-binding (Asp347, Glu429) and two catalytic (Arg431, Lys354) residues in the tomato leucine aminopeptidase (LAP-A) function was tested. The impact of substitutions at these positions, corresponding to the bovine LAP residues Asp255, Glu334, Arg336, and Lys262, was evaluated in His6–LAP-A fusion proteins expressed in Escherichia coli. Sixty-five percent of the mutant His6–LAP-A proteins were unstable or had complete or partial defects in hexamer assembly or stability. The activity of hexameric His6–LAP-As on Xaa-Leu and Leu-Xaa dipeptides was tested.
