5-(4-Bromophenyloxymethyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-thiole (3a) and 5-(4 -methylphenyloxymethyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2-thiole (3b) were synthesized starting from 4-bromophenol and 4-methylphenol (p-crezol), respectively. The 5-aryl- -oxymethyl-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiole (3a, b) were treated with N-aryl-2-chloro- -acetamides to give six corresponding new N-aryl-[(5-aryloxymethyl-1,3,4- -oxadiazol-2-yl)sulfanyl]acetamides (4a1-3, 4b1-3).

The task of the thesis: Synthesis of new derivatives of indenoisoquinoline is based on changes in B ring groups by modifying branching atoms of nitrogen atom and binding of triazole-containing hybrid compounds. Synthesis of new derivatives of indenoisoquinoline based on the change of substituents in D ring with metoxyl groups or methylendioxy. Simultaneously change the substituents on B ring through the triazole bridge by click reaction.

Recently, some of the furoquinoline alkaloids were found to have an interesting biological activity, for example, anti-cancer, antiplatelet aggregation and antifungal activities. The interesting biological activity made these compounds 1-13 attractive targets in organic chemistry. A novel generally applicable synthesis of furoquinolines is described. The condensation of 2- methoxy aniline and malonic acid in the presence of POCl3 gave 2,4-dichloro-8- methoxyquinoline. Then, treatment of this compound with sodium methoxide in methanol under reflux afforded 4,8-dimethoxyquinoline.

Twenty two N-arylidenehydrazides of [6-(2-hetarylvinyl)-3-oxopyridazine-2-yl] acetic acid have been synthesized starting from levulinic acid. Their structures have been confirmed by UV, IR, NMR and mass spectra. The spectral properties and the biological activity were investigated. Some of the tested compounds exhibit fungicidal and bactericidal activity at 25 µg/ml.

Derivaties of 1,2,4-triazole and 1,3,4-oxadiazole have a lot of biological activities such as antifungi, antibiotic, antivirus, antitumor, etc. Nineteen hetero-compounds have been synthesized. Their structures have been confirmed by elemental analysis and the spectra methods as UV, IR and NMR. In this study, we focus on the analysis the first defragments on the mass-spectra of some compounds which is derivaties of 1,3,4-oxadiazole and 1,2,4-triazole.

Glucosinolates play important roles in plant defense against herbivores and microbes, as well as in human nutrition. Some glucosinolate-derived isothi-ocyanate and nitrile compounds have been clinically proven for their anti-carcinogenic activity. To better understand glucosinolate biosynthesis in Brassica rapa, we conducted a comparative genomics study with Arabidopsis thaliana and identified total 56 putative biosynthetic and regulator genes.
