  • It is shown that: (1) Let R be a simple right Noetherian ring, then the following conditions are equivalent: (i) R is a right SI ring; (ii) Every cyclic singular right R - module is pseudo - injective. (2) Let R be a right artinian ring such that every finite generated right R - module is a direct sum of a projective module and a pseudo - injective module. Then: (i) R/Soc(RR ) is a semisimple artinian ring; (ii) J (R) ⊂ Soc(RR ); (iii) J 2 (R) = 0. (3) Let R be a ring with condition (∗ ),...

  • An element a of an associative ring R is said to be quasinilpotent if 1 − ax is invertible for every x ∈ R with xa = ax. Nilpotents and elements in the Jacobson radical of a ring are well-known examples of quasinilpotents. In this paper, properties and examples of quasinilpotents in a ring are provided, and the set of quasinilpotents is applied to characterize rings with some certain properties.

  • The goal of this work is to give a precise numerical description of the K¨hler cone of a compact K¨hler manifold. Our main result states that the a a K¨hler cone depends only on the intersection form of the cohomology ring, the a Hodge structure and the homology classes of analytic cycles: if X is a compact K¨hler manifold, the K¨hler cone K of X is one of the connected components of a a the set P of real (1, 1)-cohomology classes {α} which are numerically positive on analytic cycles, i.e. Y αp 0 for every irreducible analytic...

  • The liquid benzoxazine monomer was characterized by 1 HNMR and FTIR spectroscopy. Curing characteristics at different temperatures were studied and monitored by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The appearance of two exothermic peaks associated with reaction of double bonds of the aliphatic side–chain and ring opening polymerization of benzoxazine. High thermal stability of the polymer sample was confirmed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).

  • Let (R, m) be a noetherian local ring and M a finitely generated Rmodule. In this paper, we study the number of elements in a minimal system of generators of the homogeneous ideal in the idealization ring RnM. As immediate consequences, we presented a characterization for RnM being a regular local ring and homogeneous ideals of RnM being parameters ideals.

  • In this paper, cyclic c−injective modules are introduced and investigated. It is shown that a commutative Noetherian domain is Dedekind if and only if every simple module is cyclic c−injective. Finally, it is shown that injectivity, principal injectivity, mininjectivity, and simple injectivity are all equal to characterize right V-rings, right GV-rings, right pV-rings, and WV-rings.

  • In this paper, we first give some characterizations of e-symmetric rings. We prove that R is an e-symmetric ring if and only if a1a2a3 = 0 implies that aσ(1)aσ(2)aσ(3)e = 0, where σ is any transformation of {1, 2, 3}. With the help of the Bott–Duffin inverse.

  • Let R be a ring and a, b, c ∈ R. We give a novel characterization of group inverses (resp. EP elements) by the properties of right (resp. left ) c -regular inverses of a and discuss the relation among the strongly left (b, c)-invertibility of a, the right ca-regularity of b , and the (b, c)-invertibility of a.

  • In this paper, I will deal with dual-band electrically small antenna (ESA). The miniaturized radiation structure consists of a small ring and concentric split-ring resonator. The resonant response of the proposed radiation structure is characterized by the coupling among two split-ring resonators and the small ring. This interaction provides an additional capacitance to further reduce the total dimension of the resonant electrical length.

  • As a solution to the problems encountered with DIRECT, Gamma employs what appear today to be relatively straightforward solutions. Architecturally, Gamma is based on a shared-nothing [STON86] architecture consisting of a number of processors interconnected by a communications network such as a hypercube or a ring, with disks directly connected to the individual processors. It is generally accepted that such architectures can be scaled to incorporate 1000s of processors.

  • In this paper, we study some of the properties of gr-multiplication ideals in a graded ring R. We first characterize finitely generated gr-multiplication ideals and then give a characterization of gr-multiplication ideals by using the gr-localization of R. Finally we determine the set of gr-P primary ideals of R when P is a gr-multiplication gr-prime ideal of R.

In particular, we characterize commutative rings R with each of the following conditions: The total graph of R is chordal, the total dot product or the zero-divisor dot product graph of R is chordal, the comaximal graph of R is chordal, R is semilocal and the unit graph or the Jacobson graph of R is chordal.
