This article presents research and evaluation of a number of concrete and reinforced material models commonly used in LS-DYNA to simulate reinforced concrete structures subjected to explosion pressures. Based on that, the selections of a suitable material model with the priority input for modeling are the basic parameters of the materials.

This is due to the reduction of calcium hydroxide and the increase of secondary CSH in the cement matrix from the pozzolanic reaction of a mineral admixture. The result of the study with modern experiment methods confirmed the improvement of strength and durability for hardened cement using mineral admixture, thereby ensuring the good applicability of the additional admixtures used in concrete of marine structures.

Criticality safety of fuel debris, particularly MCCI(Molten-Core-Concrete-Interaction) products, is one of the major safety issues for decommissioning of Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. Criticality or subcriticality condition of the fuel debris is still uncertain; its composition, location, neutron moderation, etc. are not yet confirmed.

The stress jumps in reinforcement textile after each crack was also observed and analyzed. In comparison with the experiment, a good agreement between both results was found for all cases of this study. A parametric study could show the effect of the length and position of the measurement zone on the stress-strain curve of TRC’s mechanical behavior.

In this paper, the steel wire will be used to cut AAC. Three parameters must be determined to find optimal ones. Experiments will be done with a cutting machine in which the steel wires were fixed on a steel frame moving forward and backward. When the parameters said above are measured, the statistical data will be found. Based on them, the optimal parameters will be shown.

The present experiment was performed throughout two successive seasons of 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 at a Private Farm in Fayoum Governorate - Egypt. It intended to find out the individual and the combined effects of phosphorus fertilizer at four levels (20 “is considered as control”, 40, 60 and 80 –unit/fed.) and gibberellic acid at four concentrations (control, 75, 150 and 300 ppm) on growth, flower quality, corms production, chemical composition and concrete oil percentage of tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa, L.) cv. Double.

Chapter 8 - Leadership behavior. Leaders can benefit from the leadership behavior research in several ways. First, the behavioral approach has served the important purpose of directing attention to identifying types of leadership behavior critical to success. Second, the behavioral approach allows leadership practitioners to focus on concrete and specific examples of leader behavior. Third, an outgrowth of the behavioral approach has been the development of competency models and 360-degree feedback instruments.

This article describes possibilities of higher education didactic to qualify the students’ professional knowledge about pupil behaviour in the frame of the teacher training. The article is a plea to teach Chemistry more pupil-orientated than presently. The conception “pupil orientation” is considered in actual education policy-initiated efforts in Vietnam. The author concretizes his previous explanations in the “Journal of Science (HCMCUE)” about “pupil-orientation” relating to own experiences of a methodological seminar for master students.

Regional linkage in tourism development are an important requirement in the development of tourism of each country. This study explores the regional linkage experience in tourism development in Thailand and Malaysia, which has implications for regional linkage development in the Northwest of Vietnam. Research indicates the importance of regional linkage in tourism development and government policy plays an important role in promoting regional linkage. This policy should be concretized as a regional tourism linkage strategy and management units.

An experiment was carried out in the Experimental Farm, Department of Horticulture, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat during 2017-18, to study their variation in concrete recovery and chemical constituents. The experiment was laid out with six tuberose cultivars in Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. The six cultivars were Arka Nirantara, Shringar, Hyderabad Single, Vaibhav, Suvasini and Mexican Double. Aromatic variation of six cultivars were observed and found that single cultivars contain more concrete % than double cultivars.

One important innovation of green construction material is natural polymer modified mortar. In this research, polymer modified mortar used natural polymer from seaweeds, they are Eucheuma Cottonii (gel) and Gracilaria Sp. The research conducted in two parts, pre-experiment and main-experiment. Pre-experiment aimed to investigate compressive strength of natural polymer modified mortar with seaweed gel (Eucheuma Cottonii) and seaweed powder (Gracilaria Sp.). The pre-experiment followed by main-experiment which investigated compressive strength and splitting tensile strength.

Deterioration mechanism due to drying and shrinkage of patch-repaired regions in reinforced concrete structures is analytically investigated. The moisture diffusion coefficient of the repair materials was determined by varying the drying temperature and the polymer-tocement ratios of the polymer-modified cement mortar (PCM) in the experiment. It is found that the diffusivity of PCM increases in proportion to the polymer-to-cement ratio up to 10%.

Reinforced concrete structures are damaged by salt attack, concrete carbonation, and sulfate attack, etc. The expansion stress by the corrosion of reinforcing steel causes crack in the cover concrete. Patch repair method is commonly applied to deteriorated RC structures. Deterioration mechanism of a patch-repair method in reinforced concrete is investigated through the experiment and analysis. The repair material selected is polymer-modified cement mortar re-emulsified by polymer resin.
