  • The present study highlights the consumer acceptability of developed designs inspired from Molela craft of Rajasthan on women apparel items. Ethnic motifs of Molela craft were collected, screened and adapted to develop 30 new designs. These designs were evaluated by panel of experts to select two best designs for each of the five selected women apparels in best placement. Thus, finally selected ten adapted motifs were applied through stencil printing technique on five women apparel items. Their cost effectiveness was also judged along with profit margin.

  • The article explores the influence of individual cultural factors on the consumer accepting behavior. 600 questionnaires in total were distributed among the people residing in HCM city, Vietnam. A structural equation model (SEM) is used to analyze their consumer behavior in relation to new electronic products’ acceptance. According to the analysis of personal factors, fear of risk, innovation and collectiveness significantly influence the consumer acceptance behavior.The article explores the influence of individual cultural factors on the consumer accepting behavior.

  • Millet based products are economically viable and highlight the excellent medicinal and nutritional qualities. Kodo and kutki based products were developed using various processing variables to enhance the nutritional value, palatability and functionality for school going children of Jabalpur and Dindori districts of Madhya Pradesh state in India. Various developed products were assessed for their acceptability using nine point hedonic scale. The values of mean score of acceptability of malted kodo and kutki millet were found to be 8.30 and 8.27 assessed by the students and 7.94 and 7.

  • The story of Indian handicrafts comes from the oldest civilizations of the world. Present study was envisaged to study the economic viability and consumer acceptability. Thirty each rural and urban consumers expressed their acceptability for patchwork quilt value added articles. Patchworks enhanced and retained the traditionality of quilt making. Both rural and urban consumers highly accepted mosaic quilt value added articles because of their striking three dimensional effect, pleasant colour combination and fibre content.
