Graduation thesis "Developing effective vocabulary learning strategies for business English third year students at HPU" gives some suggestions on how to learn vocabulary effectively to help English learners build their vocabulary. This thesis develops a flexible customer behavior analysis system, including essential head pose estimation or F-formation modules. This system will be evaluated in an actual retail store. Further, after studying the system, realizing the mentioned problems of the head pose problem, we also propose a process to collect the head pose dataset and multi-task deep neural network model, fusing face detection and head pose estimation to yield face position and head pose at the same time.

The specific objectives of this study are to have a better understanding of the current mental health status of primary caregivers of children with CP more specifically for depression, anxiety, quality of life, the coping strategies used by caregivers, the relations between caregivers’ mental health and coping as well as other associated factors. The research findings could serve as useful inputs for the development of relevant interventions to support caregivers of children with CP to improve their mental health.

This examination explores the effect of foreign direct investment on the supply chain management and balance of payment in Iraq market. The study is conducted in Iraqi circumstances focusing on the time period of 2005-2017 by considering the supply chain management. Johansen-Juselius co integration technique has been employed to measure the association among variables of interest which is FDI, CAB and GDP. In this context of particular importance are management concepts such as supply chain and chain quality management concepts.

This thesis describes a quality method that was developed to measure the quality of a tool or technique based on the results it produces. Based on the results of these measurements on current carving tools, a number of areas were identified that could be improved. A new carving framework was developed to address these points of improvements, and its results were tested using the previously developed quality method. The new carving framework achieved significantly better results on all identified improvement areas.

The prediction of the expected long-term performance of concrete exposed to sewage and similar materials can be difficult as it is affected by a large number of parameters. In addition, the deterioration process in concrete is generally slow. The focus of the study was to ascertain the life expectancy of concrete septic tanks located in rural Victoria. In developing the accelerated test method, ASTM C 192, ASTM C 452, ASTM C 1293 and ASTM C 109 standard procedures were adopted wherever possible.

Combination with the wireless network, it can be a viable alternative solution for the indoor positioning purposes of the smartphone users. Magnetic bearing systems have received much attention in the research community for the past decades. Its inherent nonlinearity and open-loop instability present challenges for controller design. This thesis investigates and designs model predictive control (MPC) systems for an experimental Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) laboratory system. A host-target development environment of real-time control system with hardware in the loop (HIL) is used for implementation of the predictive control systems. In this thesis, both continuous and discrete time model predictive controllers are studied.
