Diverse scientific disciplines

Biotechnology is a major branch of science that plays a critical role in various different fields. The major fields where biotechnology plays a progressive role include agriculture, veterinary sciences, chemical technology, food technology, environmental studies and pharmaceutical industry. There are various other branches or fields where biotechnological principles are efficiently applied. Biotechnology is classified into four major groups depending on the field for which it has been used. The present review depicts the application of biotechnology in various scientific fields.

This paper analyzes the policy of curriculum development of undergraduate, master and doctoral training fields promulgated by the Ministry of Education and Training and by Vietnam National University (VNU). The national university model has been given a high level of autonomy in the curriculum development. VNU develops cuttingedge scientific disciplines, adjusting training programs to meet the diverse and increasingly demands of domestic and international labor markets.

The scientific world has changed. For nearly two centuries after Newton, his ideas held sway, and found widespread adoption in many other disciplines. Subsequent advances in the sciences – from Einstein’s relativity thinking to quantum physics – have since replaced the Newtonian world-view in many disciplines. In particular, a more recent revolution in the scientific community looks set to finally change traditional manage- ment – the new science of complexity.

Climatology, the study of climate, is no longer regarded as a single discipline that treats climate as something that fluctuates only within the unchanging boundaries described by historical statistics.
