This study attempts to apply the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to examine the relationship between Vietnam three investment sources, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Private Domestic Investment (PDI) as well as Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Public Investment (PI) in Vietnam over the period from 1995 to 2019. The experimental data was collected from World Bank and Vietnam General Statistics Office in 25 years starting from 1995.

In particular, tax policy was measured through the ratio of the government’s tax revenue to gross domestic product - GDP (TAX), and social development is measured through unemployment (UNE).
