  • In this paper, we report the ammonia (NH3) sensing behavior of rGO based sensors functionalized with nano-structured metal: silver (Ag) or platinum (Pt) or gold (Au) in air at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. The gas response is detected by the monitoring changes in electrical resistance of the rGO/metal hybrids due to NH3 gas adsorption. Compared to bare rGO, significantly improved NH3 sensitivity is observed with the addition of nanostructured metals.

  • In our proposed technique the wavelength shift of FBG can be determined by change of lasing wavelength of distributed feedback laser (DFB-laser) due to the change of laser substrate temperature. The maximal opto-electrical intensity of photodetector would be obtained when the laser wavelength and FBG reflection wavelength are coincided. The FBG sensor prototype has shown excellent response for laser temperature change in the range of 100C-50 0C with the ratio ∆λ/∆T of the DFB laser is of 77.5 pm.K−1 .

  • In these samples, a change of symmetry from tetragonal to orthorhombic is observed for sample with lithium content x = 0.06. Structural modifications were obtained mainly due to the cation vacancies ordering along the c-axis, which disappeared gradually when the lithium content increased. At room temperature, the maximum values of grains and grain boundaries conductivities of the La(2/3)−xLi3xTiO3 samples were found to be of 1.5×10−3 S/cm and 5.8×10−5 S/cm, respectively.
