This study investigates students’ expectations and experiences of blended learning at Hanoi Open University, Vietnam. In recent years, the Vietnamese government has produced a number of polices advocating the use of ICT in education, including blended learning, aligning this implementation with its goals to modernise. While there has been considerable research around blended learning in higher education in the west, including in the USA, UK and Australia, research in Vietnam is relatively new.

The objective of this research is to explore the quality of e-government services in Jordan from the perspective of citizens (users). Work experience is a key factor in hiring decision of managers. However, empirical evidence that early life experience matters is very limited. This thesis fills in the gap by examining how work experience affects managerial performance and managerial style in mutual funds. Using a sample of Chinese fund managers, we find performances and styles vary across managers of different career backgrounds. Notably, managers of research and especially government backgrounds show higher risk adjusted returns while taking on less systematic risk.

This research focuses on young adults aged 18-29 years in their relationship-formation phase, to gain greater insights that inform prevention-based social marketing campaigns. Research questions: The main research question was: How does economic abuse manifest in young adult relationships? There were three sub-questions: What is the prevalence of economic abuse among young adults? What is the lived experience of economic abuse in young adult relationships? And what factors are associated with economic abuse among young adults in relationships?

This research is qualitative, adopting an exemplar single case study approach with more than one unit of analysis embedded within the case. This research also takes an interpretivist view with the aim of developing concepts, confirming or refuting theory, drawing from specific implications and the contribution of rich insights. A public hospital in Malaysia currently operating with an end-to-end hospital IS/IT was selected as the case to explore the key elements that contribute to the success of assimilating HIS.
