  • In this paper, we consider the mean-field Heisenberg model with deterministic external magnetic field. We prove a large deviation principle for Sn/n with respect to the associated Gibbs measure, where Sn/n is the scaled partial sum of spins. In particular, we obtain an explicit expression for the rate function.

  • In this work, we proposed a simple model for control of optical properties via an external magnetic field in a vee-type degenerated atomic medium. By numerically solving the density matrix equations in the steady-state, we show that the absorption and dispersion properties are influenced by the strength of coupling laser and external magnetic fields.

  • The Hall effect is studied theoretically in a doped semiconductor superlattice (DSSL) subjected to a crossed dc electric field and magnetic field in the presence of an intense electromagnetic wave (EMW). By using the quantum kinetic equation for electrons interacting with acoustic phonons at low temperature, we obtain expressions for the magnetoresistance as well as the Hall coefficient in dependence on the external fields and characteristic parameters of the DSSL. Analytical results are numerically evaluated for the GaAs:Si/GaAs:Be DSSL.

  • This investigation was carried out under an external magnetic field fixed at 4 kOe to ensure for all the Co-granule magnetization being kept in a fixed incident light propagating direction. Results showed a rather remarkable angular dependence of T(φ) on the Co content for different wavelengths. It was attributed the behavior of this to be dependent on the so-called magnonphoton interaction.

  • This study investigated the elimination of Cr(VI) from aqueous solution utilizing a composite from magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4) capped with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The structure of the prepared composite system was examined by Fourier Transform Infra Red Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray Diffractometry (XRD), and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). Separation of the Fe3O4/CTAB composite from the wastewater can be achieved by application of an external magnetic field.

  • Magnetic nanoparticles absorb energy from external alternating magnetic field to create a nanosized heating source. Specific loss power (SLP) is affected strongly by several magnetic parameters of material and viscosity of nanofluid. In this study, the specific loss power as dependent on saturation magnetization was calculated for hard ferrite CoFe2O4 (K = 290 kJ/m3 ) and soft ferrite MnFe2O4 (K = 3 kJ/m3 ) with two values of viscosity in biological range 1-2 mPas.
