In this study, graphene oxide (GO) was prepared by the Hummers method. GO/CS/PVA fibers were prepared by an electrospinning method. The structure, morphology and size of the electrospun materials were characterized by X – ray diffraction (XRD) and a scanning electron microscope (SEM).

The main objectives of this research work are as follows: (i) to explore the sensitivity of macro, meso and micro fibers to tensile and compressive properties of SFCs, and (ii) to correlate the tensile strength to compressive strength of SFCs containing macro, meso and micro steel-smooth fibers.

This study investigates the performance of prototype U-FREIs under cyclic loading by both experiments and FE analysis. In experiments, four prototype specimens with the same sizes in plan and two different values of shear modulus are produced, and then the characteristic properties including the horizontal stiffness as well as the energy dissipation capacity and the equivalent viscous damping are assessed.

Anatomy of Sensation Cutaneous afferent innervation is conveyed by a rich variety of receptors, both naked nerve endings (nociceptors and thermoreceptors) and encapsulated terminals (mechanoreceptors). Each type of receptor has its own set of sensitivities to specific stimuli, size and distinctness of receptive fields, and adaptational qualities. Much of the knowledge about these receptors has come from the development of techniques to study single intact nerve fibers intraneurally in awake, unanesthetized human subjects.
