The article presents various approaches to the concept of "digital economy" and trends that put an effect on formation of competitiveness. It is concluded that the digital economy is a "digital" system of economic relations based on the use of information and communication technologies. Digital companies are becoming economic agents of the digital economy. The basic elements of a digital company are infrastructure (Internet access, SOFTWARE, telecommunications), e-business (conducting business through computer networks), e-Commerce (distribution of goods via the Internet).

The study included a total of twenty English teachers at Faculty of Foreign Languages (FFL) in Univerisity of Finance and Marketing (UFM). The information was gathered through a semi-structured interview. The results suggest that 65 percent of language teachers employed digital technology in their classrooms, whereas 35 percent used the traditional method (not using technology in language teaching and learning).

The study identifies the effect of the implementation of information and communication technology-driven digital supply chain (ICT-DSC) model in education institutes. Besides that, the study defines the integration and evaluation criteria of the Digital Supply Chain model in the academic industry. Finally, an integrated model for educational institutes in Bangladesh is developed through the study. This ICT application-based DSC model would formulate a requirement roadmap to express a guideline for the educational technology impact.

The objective of the present study is to examine the impact of supply chain knowledge management and information and communication technology on lead time of the retail sector of Indonesia. Additionally, mediating role of Responsive Supply Chain is examined in the present study as well.
