Underpinned by the technology-organisation-environment framework, this paper aims to present a theoretical model of barriers to e-marketplace adoption by Vietnamese SMEs. The theoretical model reveals twelve critical barriers, including lack of benefits, lack of compatibility, complexity, perceived risks, costs, lack of top management support, lack of knowledge readiness, lack of financial readiness, lack of innovativeness, lack of customer support, lack of external support, and lack of government support.

The current research examines the relationship of the Entrepreneurial supply chain dimensions (proactive approach, innovation, risk management and customer focus) with the supply chain strategies (undifferentiated marketing strategy, concentrated marketing strategy and differentiated marketing strategy). The focus of this investigation is to explore the role of adoption of entrepreneurial supply chains in the identification and selection of the appropriate strategy for the target market in the context of general company foe batteries manufacturing.

Doctoral thesis of Philosophy: Healthcare information systems assimilation: the Malaysian experience
This research is qualitative, adopting an exemplar single case study approach with more than one unit of analysis embedded within the case. This research also takes an interpretivist view with the aim of developing concepts, confirming or refuting theory, drawing from specific implications and the contribution of rich insights. A public hospital in Malaysia currently operating with an end-to-end hospital IS/IT was selected as the case to explore the key elements that contribute to the success of assimilating HIS.

This study investigates a number of the drivers of upgrading speed within consumer electronic products. The main constructs under investigation are psychological predisposition to rapidly upgrade (PPRU), product factors (PF), vicarious innovativeness (VI), vicarious adoption (VA), and disposal orientation (DO). In addition, a consumer’s intention to quickly upgrade in the future (FIU) is also investigated.

The research study was conducted in Bidar district of Karnataka during 2017-18. The objectives of the study were, finding the extent of technology application gap of improved cultivation practices of production and to find out the relationship between socio-economic variables with the technology application gap. Appropriate research methodology was adopted. Findings indicated 20.20% production technology application gap and 19% partial application was found among the growers.

Managing Your Suppliers as a Resource Introduction Several years ago, I visited Camco, GE's appliance manufacturing and distribution business unit in Canada. Camco was the site of one of the earliest, most successful, make-to-order manufacturing systems in the world. Through insight and innovation, Camco's managers developed a manufacturing process that was widely followed. I recall the manager of the manufacturing unit telling me that their suppliers were one of their most valuable resources, but they had not realized it until they engaged them in the new system.
