• ### ANALOG CIRCUITS

The invariable motif for analog design is to explore the new circuit topologies, architectures and CAD technologies to overcome the design challenges coming from the new applications and new fabrication technologies. In this book, a new architecture for a SAR ADC is proposed to eliminate the process mismatches and minimize the errors.

• ### Applied statistics and probabilty for engineers

Applied statistics and probabilty for engineers_This is an introductory textbook for a first course in applied statistics and probability for undergraduate students in engineering and the physical or chemical sciences. These individuals play a significant role in designing and developing new products and manufacturing systems and processes, and they also improve existing systems. Statistical methods are an important tool in these activities because they provide the engineer with both descriptive and analytical methods for dealing with the variability in observed data.

• ### Econometric theory and methods, Russell Davidson - Chapter 5

Chapter 5 Confidence Intervals 5.1 Introduction Hypothesis testing, which we discussed in the previous chapter, is the foundation for all inference in classical econometrics. It can be used to find out whether restrictions imposed by economic theory are compatible with the data

• ### ECG Notes: Interpretation and Management Guide_2

Heart rate is calculated as the number of times the heart beats per minute. It usually measures ventricular rate (the number of QRS complexes) but can refer to atrial rate (the number of P waves). The method chosen to calculate HR varies according to rate and regularity on the ECG tracing.

• ### Estimating a Social Accounting Matrix Using Cross Entropy Methods

There is a continuing need to use recent and consistent multisectoral economic data to support policy analysis and the development of economywide models. Updating and estimating inputoutput tables and social accounting matrices (SAMs), which provides the underlying data framework for this type of model and analysis, for a recent year is a difficult and a challenging problem. Typically, input-output data are collected at long intervals (usually five years or more), while national income and product data are available annually, but with a lag.

• ### MULTIPLE POSITIVE SOLUTIONS OF SINGULAR DISCRETE p-LAPLACIAN PROBLEMS VIA VARIATIONAL METHODS RAVI

MULTIPLE POSITIVE SOLUTIONS OF SINGULAR DISCRETE p-LAPLACIAN PROBLEMS VIA VARIATIONAL METHODS RAVI P. AGARWAL, KANISHKA PERERA, AND DONAL O’REGAN Received 31 March 2005 We obtain multiple positive solutions of singular discrete p-Laplacian problems using variational methods. 1. Introduction We consider the boundary value problem −∆ ϕ p ∆u(k − 1) = f k,u(k) , k ∈ [1,n], (1.1) u(k) 0, k ∈ [1,n], u(0) = 0 = u(n + 1), where n is an integer greater than or equal to 1, [1,n] is the discrete interval {1,...

• ### Báo cáo " Research on the optimal picket sampling interval in automated digital terrain model creation by using digital photogrammetry "

In the method of creating digital terrain model (DTM) by using digital photogrammetry, the picket sampling interval (PSI) plays an important role since it strongly influences on the production effectiveness and on the accuracy of created DTMs. The optimal value of PSI must be balanced between requirements of effectiveness and of accuracy. This research is focused on the influence of PSI on root mean square error (RMSE) of created DTM and on the number of error pickets (caused by limitation of image matching technique) that must be checked and corrected manually.

• ### FIRST GLIMPSES OF JAPAN AGRICULTURE

We left the United States from Seattle for Shanghai, China, sailing by the northern route, at one P. M. February second, reaching Yokohama February 19th and Shanghai, March 1st. It was our aim throughout the journey to keep in close contact with the field and crop problems and to converse personally, through interpreters or otherwise, with the farmers, gardeners and fruit growers themselves; and we have taken pains in many cases to visit the same fields or the same region two, three or more times at different intervals during the season in order to observe different phases of the...
