Field experiments were conducted for two consecutive years during summer season of 2015 and 2016 to study the effect of different irrigation regimes (I1- 0.8 IW: CPE, I2- 0.6 IW: CPE and I3- 0.4 IW: CPE) and row spacing (S1- 45 cm and S2- 30 cm) on varieties (V1- Meha and V2- GM 4) of mungbean crop. Results found that higher grain yield (1380 kg ha-1 and 1437 kg ha-1 ) was found in I1 followed by I2 and I3 in both the years of experiments. Pooled results revealed increase in grain yield in irrigation level I1 was to the tune of 18.5 and 83.

A field experiment was conducted from 23rd March to 31st May-2019 to evaluate the effect of drip irrigation levels on amaranthus (Amaranthus hybridus L) yield and water use efficiency under shade-net. The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design (RBD) with five treatments (60%, 80%, 100% and 120% of water requirement using drip irrigation and 100% of water requirement using furrow irrigation) and four replications. The findings of the investigation revealed that the highest yields in terms of fresh leaves weight per plant (63.89 g), fresh stem weight per plant (85.

The field experiment was conducted on watermelon (Citrullus lanatus Thunb) cv. Kiran in summer season for two consecutive years viz., 2015 and 2016 at Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of different mulches (black plastic mulch, transparent plastic mulch, soybean strawmulch and control)on root zone temperature, growth and fruit yield characters of watermelon under different irrigation levels. Among the mulches soil temperature in transparent and black plastic mulch applications were higher (2.5 – 5.3 0C and 2.2 – 3.

Research results indicated significant variation in all the vegetative growth attributes and yield parameters in different drip irrigation and mulches. The maximum number of branches per vine, length of vine, number of leaves per vine and leaf area were recorded with 1.0 ETc as compared to other drip irrigation treatments at 60, 90 DAT and harvest. However, in respect to earliness i.e. days to first flowering, fruiting and harvesting were also observed with the treatment 1.0 ETc.
