First, there are 13 new authors, including experts from Germany, Canada, Sweden, and Brazil. These authors bring additional new perspectives to the international flavor of the book. Second, we have added new topics to broaden the scope of how changing the diet can influence the course of kidney disease. The new topics include the influence of dietary salt, how diets affect kidney stones, and strategies for obese patients plus the influence of exercise on dietary recommendations.
