Preventing e. coli in food aim prevention and control require a multidisciplinary approach in animal and plant production as well as risk-based approaches along the entire food supply chain. These include the application of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) from the farm to the consumer.

The major aims of this project centred around building capacity in protected cropping systems, trialling these systems with tomatoes and cucumbers in Vietnam and introducing farmers and other supply chain partners to these systems. As such, the emphasis was never intended to be on improving supply chains, merely examining current vegetable supply chains and determining the major problems. This milestone was added to the project after the original design and in-fact was extracted from another CARD project and added into this project.

Common carp is one of the most important cultured species in Vietnam. The goal of the carp breed program was creation of a common carp breed with stable genetic qualities such as fast growth, high survival rate and attractive appearance. In the first phase (1981-1985) the program focused on the assessment of the original carp varieties, which should be used as initial materials for selection.

Confirm the project was carried out between November and December 2008 using a standard questions. A total of 220 questions were sent to farmers, who graduated from FFSs in our first completed between April but in May 2008, in 10 cashew growing districts in the major growing provinces. A total of 197 questionnaires were collected. For comparison with the original data we collect in start of this project, this question includes the following six aspects:
