  • We present a system that learns to follow navigational natural language directions. Where traditional models learn from linguistic annotation or word distributions, our approach is grounded in the world, learning by apprenticeship from routes through a map paired with English descriptions. Lacking an explicit alignment between the text and the reference path makes it difficult to determine what portions of the language describe which aspects of the route.

  • Fifty-five pea (Pisum sativum L.) genotypes were evaluated using eleven morphological traits to assess the interrelationship among yield and yield-related attributes and their direct and indirect effects on seed yield. Based on the correlation coefficient analysis, seed yield per plant showed positive and significant association with green pod yield per plant, shell weight per plant, number of pods per plant and length of pod both at genotypic and phenotypic levels.

  • Rice as a cereal grain is the most widely consumed staple food for a large part of world’s human population, especially in Asia. Estimation correlation among different characters was undertaken by taking into consideration 8 CMS line and their maintainer lines. At genotypic level, grain yield per plant showed highly significant and positive correlation with date of panicle initiation, 50% panicle emergence, 100% panicle emergence, panicle per plant, no. of tillers and days of maturity and negatively correlated with pollen sterility.

  • The experimental material comprised of 21 chickpea genotypes and the experiment was laid out in Randomised Complete Block Design with three replications, during rabi, 2017 Maximum GCV and PCV were recorded for seed yield per plant and harvest index. High genetic advance as percent of mean recorded for seed yield per plant. Seed yield per plant showed high positive significant correlation with harvest index and pods per plant at phenotypic and genotypic levels. Biological yield and Harvest index exhibited high direct positive effect on seed yield per plant at phenotypic and genotypic levels.

  • In the present investigation cause of association and direct and indirect effects were estimated between anaerobic germination traits, yield and its contributing traits in twenty five hybrids, along with their ten parents and three checks of rice (Oryza sativa L.). Single plant yield registered positive significant association with number of tillers per hill, number of productive tillers per hill, panicle length, spikelet fertility, number of grains per panicle and 1000-grain weight indicating that these characters were important for yield improvement.

  • The experimental material comprised of 33 genotypes including ‘Surajmukhi’ as standard check was evaluated in randomized complete block design with three replications during summer-rainy season 2017. The estimates of PCV and GCV were high for dry fruit yield/plant and it also showed high heritability coupled with high genetic advance along with marketable red ripe fruit yield/plant, non- marketable red ripe fruits/plant, dry fruit yield/plant and oleoresin content. Majority of the traits showed high heritability along with moderate estimates of PCV, GCV and genetic advance.
