Triple negative breast cancers (TNBC) are a more aggressive subset of breast cancer. A better understanding of its biology could allow the rational development of targeted therapies. High EGFR protein expression and exon 9 PIK3CA activating mutations are independent prognostic factors in TNBC. The efficacy of anti-PI3K targeted therapies needs to be evaluated in this setting.

The current study was designed to investigate the potential effect of Spirulina platensis, Arthrospira platensis, (SP) on tissue protection of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) through estimation of P53 level. Five isonitrogenous and isocaloric rations containing graded levels of dried SP 5, 7.5,10, 15, and 20 g/kg diet were fed separately to five equal groups of O. niloticus fingerlings, additional control group was assigned for 3 months. Liver samples were separately collected from each group by the end of each month.

The purpose of this chapter is largely to serve as an accessible introduction or a refresher of basic notions regarding analytic functions. We start by recalling the elementary theory of functions and their singularities in a style tuned to the needs of analytic combinatorics. Cauchy’s integral formula expresses coefficients of analytic functions as contour integrals. Suitable uses of Cauchy’s integral formula then make it possible to estimate such coefficients by suitably selecting an appropriate contour of integration.
