The current research is undertaken by performing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for a 2D aerofoil fitted with a shock control bump at a transonic flow condition. Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes equation coupled with turbulence models is adopted to solve the flowfield. The bump has a conventional geometric feature which consists of a ramp, a crest and a tail, and it has eight variants for which the designed parameters are reasonably specified according to the compressible aerodynamics theory.

The set of intracavity field equations describing the evolution of intra-cavity pumping, Stokes and anti-Stokes powers of Raman laser is presented. Most attention is given to intra-cavity competition of two Raman waves, which depends on cavity properties, frequency shift and phase mismatch. The calculated results are based on Ge-doped and D2-gas-in glass fiber lasers at CW-regime and pulse-pumped regime.

The stochastic 2D Navier-Stokes equations on the torus driven by degenerate noise are studied. We characterize the smallest closed invariant subspace for this model and show that the dynamics restricted to that subspace is ergodic. In particular, our results yield a purely geometric characterization of a class of noises for which the equation is ergodic in L2 (T2 ). Unlike previous 0 works, this class is independent of the viscosity and the strength of the noise.
