The research extends the understanding of these factors through the incorporation of Absorptive Capacity (ACAP). Accordingly, a model is developed that integrates ACAP, MVC and MV with market-driving innovation performance, comprising before-launch stage performance, post-launch stage performance and financial performance. External and internal structural factors relevant to the firm such as size and the nature of its competitive environment are also considered as moderators in the model.

The Central Statistics Office has registered increased availability in part-time courses in Ireland over recent years. This study aims to investigate the motivators driving part-time study and the impact studying part-time has on professional and personal lives of full-time employees in Ireland. Utilising a qualitative research approach, data was collected using open ended, semi-structured interviews on six desirable participants and examined using thematic analysis. Extracted information was interpreted and discussed.

Loss of E-cadherin-mediated cell–cell adhesion and expression of proteolytic enzymes characterize the transition from benign lesions to invasive, metastatic tumor, a rate-limiting step in the progression from adenoma to carcinoma in vivo. A soluble E-cadherin fragment found recently in the serum and urine of cancer patients has been shown to disrupt cell–cell adhe-sion and to drive cell invasion in a dominant-interfering manner.

Although allostery plays a central role in driving protein–DNA interac-tions, the physical basis of such cooperative behavior remains poorly understood. In the present study, using isothermal titration calorimetry in conjunction with site-directed mutagenesis, we provide evidence that an intricate network of energetically-coupled residues within the basic regions of the Jun-Fos heterodimeric transcription factor accounts for its allosteric binding to DNA.
