The present thesis attempts to describe the Knowledge Management (KM) field in terms of its relevance to the Library & Information Science (LIS) professions. The methodology employed was a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches including administration of a web-based survey and the conduct of in-depth interviews targeted at LIS professionals. The results emerging from the research revealed very positive feedback from the LIS community in regard to attitudes towards KM.

The transport of oxygen in the hemolymph of many arth-ropod and mollusc species is mediated by large copper-proteins that are referred to as hemocyanins. Arthropod hemocyanins are composed of hexamers and oligomers of hexamers. Arachnid hemocyanins usually form 4·6-mers consisting of seven distinct subunit types (termed a–g), although in some spider taxa deviations from this standard scheme have been observed.

LIGHTENING YOUR WORKLOAD WITH INCLUDES Introducing the PHP include commands PHP has four commands that can be used to include code from an external file, namely: • • • • include() include_once() require() require_once() They all do basically the same thing, so why have four? The fundamental difference is that include() attempts to continue processing a script, even if the external file is missing, whereas require() is used in the sense of mandatory: if the file is missing, the PHP engine stops processing and throws a fatal error.

Building XNA 2.0 Games- P16: I would like to acknowledge John Sedlak, who saved this book from certain doom, as well as all of the great guys in the XNA community and Microsoft XNA team, who helped me with all of my stupid programming questions. (That is actually the term used—“stupid programming question”—and it is a question that one should not have to ask if one has been approached to write a book about the subject.)
