This study focuses on investigating the effect of negative pressure on the structure and diffusion processes of Silicon dioxide at liquid nitrogen temperature. The insights gained from this study will serve as a foundation for future experimental research aimed at the development and manufacturing of advanced materials.

The results show that the chloroquine phosphate loading process by material consists of two stages: surface adsorption and intra-particle diffusion. The maximum chloroquine phosphate adsorption capacity of the material reached 236 (mg/g) according to the Langmuir model.

Modelling the diffusion of mobile commerce in a country is a difficult task due to the non-linear, complex and uncertain nature of its operating environment. Conventional analytical techniques are of limited use in this context, and a System Dynamics approach is more appropriate to model such a complex system.

In this paper we use a new method based on Einstein’s equation to calculate the diffusion coefficient of impurity atoms in the disorder systems. Simulation results show that the diffusion coefficient D obeys the Arrhenius law. The dependence of the diffusion coefficient D on temperature for regular disordered lattice is also examined and discussed.

Thus, in this paper, we will construct an estimation scheme for Γ(A) based on an irregular sample {Xti, i = 0, 1, . . .} of X and study its asymptotic behavior. In particular, we first introduce an unbiased estimator for when X is a standard Brownian motion and provide a functional central limit theorem (Theorem 2.2) for the error process.

We report a facile process to fabricate cuprous thin films by thermal oxidation of copper substrates. Structure and phase identification were studied by X-ray diffraction measurement and Raman spectroscopy. Scanning electron microscopy was utilized to study surface morphology of the as-fabricated thin films and optical properties of the samples were investigated by diffused reflectance spectroscopy.

The better-connected countries tend to have lower technology intensity if the technology has become obsolete. Finally, the third chapter is a theoretical approach to the technology diffusion. In particular, the technology diffusion across countries can be generalized as a learning process on networks. Based on a stylized learning model, this chapter examines the impact of the network structures on the speed of the diffusion process.

In this paper, the author study positive recurrence for a wide class of jump diffusions by using Khasminskii’s approach developed in. We show that the property of positive recurrence is independent of the choice of the bounded domain in the state space. Moreover, the author establish a sufficient condition for positive recurrence using Liapunov functions.

PERIODIC SOLUTIONS OF A DISCRETE-TIME DIFFUSIVE SYSTEM GOVERNED BY BACKWARD DIFFERENCE EQUATIONS BINXIANG DAI AND JIEZHONG ZOU Received 22 November 2004 and in revised form 16 January 2005 A discrete-time delayed diffusion model governed by backward difference equations is investigated. By using the coincidence degree and the related continuation theorem as well as some priori estimates, easily verifiable sufficient criteria are established for the existence of positive periodic solutions. 1.

Thyrotoxicosis is the clinical syndrome that results when tissues are exposed to high levels of circulating thyroid hormones. It results in a generalized acceleration of metabolic processes. - Hyperthyroidism: hyperactivity of the thyroid gland. Table 1. Conditions Associated with Thyrotoxicosis. 1. Chemoprevention of Cancers of the Upper Aerodigestive Tract Smoking causes diffuse epithelial injury in the head, neck, esophagus, and lung. Patients cured of squamous cell cancers of the lung, esophagus, head, and neck are at risk (as high as 5% per year) of developing second cancers of the upper aerodigestive tract. Cessation of cigarette smoking does not markedly decrease the cured cancer patient's risk of second malignancy, even though it does lower the cancer risk in those who have never developed a malignancy.

Episcleritis This is an inflammation of the episclera, a thin layer of connective tissue between the conjunctiva and sclera. Episcleritis resembles conjunctivitis but is a more localized process and discharge is absent. Most cases of episcleritis are idiopathic, but some occur in the setting of an autoimmune disease. Scleritis refers to a deeper, more severe inflammatory process, frequently associated with a connective tissue disease such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus erythematosus, polyarteritis nodosa, Wegener's granulomatosis, or relapsing polychondritis.
